And the bug where Adjust Lighting is not not applied to recovered faces is not fixed. When is it going to be fixed? It seems it should be easy - just apply lighting changes on the final full image, like the final upscale, not its components. The bug has been there since 2.4.2. One thread is marked “Resolved” but it’s far from resolved.
Relevant threads:
When having face recovery together with lighting adjustment and color balance faces seem not to have all same filters applied as other parts of an image. There is also a specific rectangle visible from the face recovery processing step.
Steps to reproduce issue:
Enable face recovery
Enable adjust lighting
Enable color balance

I am surprised nobody noticed/fixed this bug. It appeared in 3.0.0.
Steps to reproduce issue:
Take a full/half body portrait.
Apply Face recovery, Adjust lighting (in any order), Upscale (any model).
The face will stay at the original brightness unaffected by Adjust lighting.
Examples are attached. Please fix.

I assume that this has something to do with face detection, since it’s a square shadow on the face, which isn’t there on the Raws.
