I assume your TV movies are interlaced. if so the bug you seeing is might be related to the below bug.
Your views are getting reset to Proteus and not what you selected.
double check that this is what you seeing in the View settings that it has Proteus and not what you had set.
Bug Report
There is a Bug since v4.1.0,
If you select number of videos and set Interlace and set an AI other then Prob4 (e.g. select Interlaced → Dione TV), the upscaling settings would reset themselves back again to the default Proteus 4 when you actually look at each video upscaling settings.
Another form of this bug, if you load 2 or more videos and stand on one of the videos and set Interlaced → Dione TV (for example), then you go to the next video on the list (let’s say to set it’s setti…
The bug / behavior you have encountered:
a. drag 4 files to be converted
b. Set upscale 2X - interlaced progressive - “Dione Roburst”
c. H264 Audio mode - convert
d. make sure all 4 input files are selected and clicked on “selected”
e. click on any “input” file in the left side pane and the AI mode reverts back to “Proteus”

Import two or more videos. (I’m using some PAL .VOB files from some home movie DVD’s my dad made).
Select the first one and choose DeInterlace and AI Model of Dione DV

Select another video.
Go back and select the first one. Expect the AI Model to still be Dione DV. It’s gone back to Proteus.

In fact, even if I create a preset from a video that I’ve selected Dione DV for. If I apply that to other videos, it still seems to go to Proteus when I select the video.
