Since I have not even had an acknowledgement of either of these 2 points in weeks I have posted them as formal bug reports:

AV1 files unplayable in VLC

Selecting AV1 as codec with dynamic + high settings options results in broken files that won’t play in VLC. Issue introduced in v6.2 and persists in v7.0 Edit - resolved - problem was on my end - hardware decoding was disabled on VLC. Thanks

‘Auto’ bitrate option for AV1 missing

This option has not been available since v6.2. Can we at a minimum get an explanation as to why? Will it be brought back? If not, can you provide the command line arguments that were used for it? Thanks
