Tried using this version and doing a Export As and its now creating the main file along with another file with the same name but temp added to the end, both end up being the same size when it completes. This is an issue for me when it comes to space. I switched back to 3.3.5 and it doesnāt do this.

Do you have all files selected? If you have the files selected, all of the settings will be applied across the files. If you do not have all of the files selected, this should not occur.

Hmm, that is odd that the folder was cleared. Are you able to recreate this?
@PVan23 It sounds like you may not be familiar with Agile? We operate on an Agile Development cycle which means that we test our releases in-house and with a team of Beta testers to get the app to our users as soon as possible which allows us to collect information from our entire user base.
We release updates every Tuesday and yes, we are not perfect and sometimes bugs sneak in! This is why we released two hot fixes. Keep in mind that these fixes were addressed ASAP.
You do realize that these were not updates but hotfixes? In our normal cycle v3.3.6 would have been released last night, however, we had two issues that needed to be addressed.
Yes, the ability to set the output FPS back to the original is something that we are working to address.

I have similar, possibly same issue with Proteus in 3.3.8. Canāt say whether or not it was an issue in 3.3.6 or 3.3.7 but it definitely was not like this 3.3.5 and earlier.
Usually I will check the estimates throughout the video then decide on an overall settings for the video manually. This issue now is that, once I manually set a value, it will remain that value regardless of input source and will not change by using the estimate function. The only way to unstuck it is to restart the app.
This really makes it inconvenient when I want to use estimate function on multiple different videos. It practically mean I can only queue one video at a time and have to restart the app if I want to use estimate function for a different video.

Custom size, as a āclassā for user presets behaves totally fine on my end. The only gripe are the values, which do not adjust, while I import/drop new video or change the preset.
Iād like VEAI to āknowā, which parameter I set manually (width or height, in my case itās 1080p, so - height), and mark this in JSON, so the other value would be calculated on the spot, like it was before the change in presets handling (which I like, though, creating a new preset from the one already on-screen isnāt well explained - I have to press the Reset button, which is scary ).
About recording - sure thing! Iāll record it, itāll be on VEAI 3.3.8 though. But since the ācalculation issueā persists in this version as well, itāll do!

Thereās another lingering bug I noticed for quite some time, maybe even since the introduction of Apollo V8 model - when I have it used, thereās a one-frame-difference between what I mark for preview (start from) and the resulting preview video (the preview is āhappeningā one frame ālaterā).
Also, I just noticed, but where are the buttons for the preview type, cropping, etc.?

As you can see, Iāve conformedā¦ Loom and other wonders of the modern world ā¦ soā¦ we have a file with SAR 480:320 and DAR 480:270 (16:9)ā¦ after inputting the height of 1080, it should calculate the aspect ratio according to DAR, which means the width should be 1920, but no, TVAI calculates it according to SAR. Therefore, it adds two black bars at the top and bottom. In the previous version 3.3.5, the calculation was done according to DAR (when selecting square pixels). Furthermore, if you manually input 1920 as the width, TVAI introduces a black bar on the right side. Is the way I presented the issue clear? 
There has been no speed improvement in a long time
Unfortunately this is not the issue. The issue that in pre 3.3.6, you could create a new preset at any time. I want to tweak existing presets, then save them out under new names. Having to create a brand new preset only from the āNoneā position is very annoying because it resets everything.

Is Anyone facing a lower performance After this update. My Video conversions from HD to 4K 60 fps used to happen at 4 to 4.3 fps on a 4090, after this update its 3 to 3.1 fps. There is no Other Change.
Iām on a Mac Studio M2 Ultra and I have yet to get Preview to work for ANY video - itās broken. I previously was using an iMac 2020 (Intel) and the Previews were working. Do any M1/M2 Apple SIlicon users get Previews to work? Iāve submitted logs already.

What are on about? Iāve been here since day1. When the program was indeed in its infancy. Just saying itās not what you described it to beā¦ thatās allā¦
Not sure. Because I recently redid a clean installation of the software. I did it with 3.3.5 just to have something clean. Then when 3.3.8 came out, I just installed over it. After that, I donāt know if itās the last install or if itās when I redid a clean install. Because it could be that it was then and that I didnāt realize it until much later. Itās just a guess.
