I added your info to the development team ticket working on supporting the new way Apple encodes metadata in the new iOS 18. This creates issues in multiple programs. We will reach out here once a fix is resolved, and I will tag you here. The fix will also be mentioned in the releases notes, that we would support that new HEIC metadata encoding when we do support it 
In the meantime, you can revert iOS, or convert the files to TIFF or JPEG, and/or shoot in JPEG to forego the conversion!

I donât know how Euros compare to USD. But that number is higher than the USD number (by a fair amt). Itâs also the more highly specâd system version than Iâm getting (which is only 1 TB storage). All sorts of sales are being offered right now, so we just got off the phone re: a refund on the delta from the ordered price (which was also a lot less than your number) and todayâs sale price. 
Theoretically, the 32GB RAM can be upgraded to 64GB. But baby steps.
That laptop price in ⏠is ca 3900 US$. Well, Nvidia RTX 4090 is very expensive, and SSD 2 TB as well. Anyway, that Acer Predator is very good. âFor gamersâ (a marketing term) just means itâs good for playing computer games (because of smooth motion display, a lot of frames per second is needed, i.e. video) but itâs just as good for other demanding graphics (photos).

Yeah, the YT video reviewers I watched got all excited (showing the unboxing) b/c the laptop is supposed to come with 4 special keys in their own box that let users replace the key caps. To be honest I had no idea why they were reacting like those keys were diamonds the way they handled them. I assumed that maybe they were keys that would be useful in gaming. They may have been translucent vs the normal black keypad keys. IDK.
Ppl seemed to like the mini LED screen too. And, that laptop is supposed to work well with the apps I planned to use it with.

Topaz 3.3.3 suddenly closes after 10 seconds of opening, both while transferring edits from Lightroom and when opened alone and while examining the photo.
Any word on if Topaz will speed up Super Focus in the next update? It is still labeled a Beta feature in 3.3.2/3.3.3, but when it first came out in 3.3.0 about 2 months ago on 2024/10/18 Topaz said they would improve the performance. Below is what Topaz wrote. Here is the Photo AI 3.3.0 info:

Now this to me is actually a lot more interesting at the moment than GAI and itâs Topaz girl infestation. While I have yet to see a good example of what Redefine can do without either overcooking/inventing new animals or having to put in a huge lot of work (really loved the Red Panda âexperimentsâ) Superfocus rarely fails for me when I do what I - currently - primarily do with it, which is bringing old mobile phone photos that Iâm (now) happy I didnât ditch back to life. And when something weird comes out my new âfriendâ text recovery have helped me out a couple of timesâŠ
Still wouldnât mind it getting even better though⊠like maybe a bit faster.

Super Focus already got a 2X speed boost⊠I can actually use it in a Mac! But thereâs always room for improvement I guess.
Topaz, are you alive??
The latest updates was released in the mid of November. In the meantime no report or statement about the actual bugfixing. Especially about the bug that PhotoAI crashes (clode without any messages) if a second sharpen adjustment is added.
Whatâs going on with this bug (and all the others)?
We DOESNâT NEED already new features (like Super Focus and so on), we like a stable, good working application without bigger bugs. Only when this is done you should think about new functions. Please focus on this point.

Itâs been over a year that many users have been making the same requests
But, at least until now with poor results: after all it is an old technique, not only of companies but also of politics , that when you do not know, or worse you do not want, to solve some specific problems you direct the publicâs attention to other functions.

We have more optimizations coming, although I cannot give exact numbers yet. There are improvements to Windows and Mac in the pipeline.
We have a fix for this coming in the next update which will be in the next few days. Other bug fixes are in progress as well, the changelog for the next version has a lot of content and hopefully is what you are looking for!
