[RESOLVED IN 7.1.1] Video AI 7.1.0 Error during Preview and Export in trial mode

This is a known issue with the 7.1.0 version. We recommend rolling back to version 7.0.2

he has 6.2.2 not 7.1

what I can see in the log is " Insufficient memory" while writing something in a file under windows userprofile called “joshy”

Error: Insufficient memory (Failed to allocate 176947200 bytes) in cv::OutOfMemoryError, file C:\Users\joshy\.conan2\p\b\openc83bb98d848a25\b\src\modules\core\src\alloc.cpp, line 73

I saw simillar already. Does user “joshy” really exists, if not why this is in the code?

Edit: simillar issue here, joshy, josh…something strange going on https://community.topazlabs.com/t/hard-coded-and-wrong-username-i-aint-josh/93925?u=mayday

was a file (hidden) distributed that cause it?

Trial mode resolved in 7.1.1

I realized that my problem was the original video size.
I got a faulty version, digitized from an VHS tape, in 1440 x 1080 pixel.
I converted it to the standard 720 x 576 pixel with Handbrake (Topaz could not do it) and after imported the downscaled version now it works with the 7.2 beta version as usual.

Its not the video resolution, its the fact you converted the video in Handbrake. I got the same issue and i use standard resolutions, from your 720x576 or just now with a 1080p video, exported from Adobe Premiere, it suddenly gives a error when trying to render a preview in Video AI 7. When i convert the video in Handbrake, it suddenly works.

I just uninstalled and went back to version 6, no 7 works, error, error, error!
