I just purchased Video AI this morning. First of all, it exported quite slow at .9 and the video that I watched said it would be much faster on my machine. This was a very short video.

Apple M3 Max Mac Book Pro with 128 gb memory and current software.

Second of all, I did stabilization on the video and it still moves around but now it has flashes of what I presume are missing data in the left hand corner. When I researched, it said that AI would auto fill in any missing data and the stabilization would work perfectly. I did full-frame stabilization and did not increase the size as it was 4K 60. Thirdly, you don’t have a preset for vertical, professional quality videos that are being used on FB and YouTube. I would have thought you would have this option. I had to import into Final Cut for more processing.

That way we can review the settings applied and see if there are any preferences that need to be adjusted or if this is a file issue.

I can send the clip but I don’t know what you mean by logs. I told it to stabilize and after a very long wait found that it was a mess

The logs are from inside Video AI and can be collected from the Help tab>Logging>Get Logs for Support.

This will open a window and show you the logs and there will be a zipped folder that you can attach here or send to the support team.

I did all of that but don’t see the logs?

When you click on Logging is there a dot or mark next to the option to signify that Logging is turned on?

If not, click it to turn logging on and then recreate the issue you are seeing and then you can get the logs for support and attach them here.

I sent a folder, you should have logs

I’ve sent the folder and am awaiting your reply. I edited the same video on After Effects and on Final Cut and neither of them caused this distortion. AE and FC were not giving me the results I expected and I was led to believe that Topaz would do a better job but the results were worse Now I have spent this entire day trying to get feedback from you while you make me jump through hoops. The screen catch I shared with you should have told the story and I feel certain that I am not the first to complain about this. I am out $300 because you would not allow me to try this before buying and your information is limited. I had to spend an hour waiting for the file to export before I could see the results. This is not good at all.

The folder you sent is the Projects folder and not the logs folder. The logs folder is accessible by clicking the Help tab>Logging>Get Logs for Support and then grabbing the “Logs For Support” zipped folder. Like in the screenshot below.

Also the videos you sent are the processed videos, are you able to share the unedited video? This way we can try and recreate the issue and see if the distortions are due to settings or the video input file itself.

There is a trial version that is available of the app, when you first download the app it will open in a demo version if you do not click activate or log in with a licensed account.

Have not been trying to make you jump through hoops or be delayed, have been trying to get the information together to understand what is going on to see if there is a resolution that can be sorted out.

](iCloud)What you are showing here does not come up the same on my computer. It has logs for support and when I click on that finder comes up but there is no zip file. The only thing in view where it comes up is CP949.txt. If it is sending a zip file somewhere, it is not telling me where to find it. There is nothing labeled topaz, except the file I sent and searching for a zip file yields nothing.

I have tried numerous times to access logs and each time a finder window comes up but there is not topaz zip file anywhere. I have checked documents, downloads and desktop but nothing. If you have an idea of where this log is saving itself, that might be helpful.

I was not given an option for a trial and could not even download the latest version until I paid for it. It could be that I downloaded it awhile back but never used it because of not being ready to make the purchase, and that was my trial? I never opened it, I don’t think.

Anyway, I am trying a new clip. I’ve worked with it in FC and decided to see what would happen in Topaz. Here is a cell video of the screen - you will see that it has the same blurring across the bottom of the frame, in the preview.

I see it now, it was not clear in the post. I am putting it into the queue shortly to see what I can do and I will respond when I can with some settings to try.

Okay, if you look at the phone video I did of the second video, you will see it does the same thing. I tried doing crop stabilization and it was a huge crop and I continue to see the same blanking, blurring of detail. I’m messing around with settings but not getting any improvement. The same video in FC turns out decent but I wanted Topaz because it was my understanding that it would be better.

I am running an export with these settings as the test clip looks promising.
