Topaz Video AI v4.1.1

My test export is running about 10% faster in this build. Don’t know if that’s related, and will need to run some additional tests to see if it’s consistent.

Maybe abandon using the mov container? FFV1 in mkv can be played while processing. Same with PNG images. And H.265. It’s really just mov and maybe ProRes that is your enemy here.

Good news, the Wake while processing feature seems to be working now!
I was wrong. It seems like it worked for an hour?

I’m not sure how you came to have that experience, but don’t worry, I know when to put the pressure on.

MP4s won’t play in process either. It’s interesting the MKVs will. Wonder why that is.

Is there a way to reorder my Export list?

I’m tiring of having to delete and redo my exports so they’re in the correct order. The reason they’re not in the correct order is: When I import many files at once, apparently it doesn’t bring them into the program in chronological order.

Maybe it was created with streaming in mind. I find it to be the most well thought out container… even if it’s not supported be all the big companies of the world.

Yes! Well! It works. The issue has been resolved. But the problem of lack of communication between developers and customers has not gone away.

Is there any team there at all? Lately, it seems that there is one guy left there who just accepts funds into his account…

That sounds for me like…

“if you don´t like what we removed from our program…
so better close your subscription and look better somewhere else where the devs don´t fool the customers.”

So the devs want that we look for another company so that they feel that we went over to somewhere else.

'Your hack isn´t coming back…and laughing at the customers"
It´s like a fist in the face for the customers.

Now we really know how the devs think…thanks…

What do you mean with this “UNSUPPORTED HACK” when we previsously had a LIVE-PREVIEW while Export.
That was really a “HACK” ?!
And it was always told that this feature would come back shortly.

I don´t like to renew my license any more after this official statement !!!

You can’t even tell the difference between Topaz staff and a regular user…hint - I’m not staff nor do I speak on their behalf.

So now finally we have a solution (instead of others repeatedly trying to tell us what we need and what not)!

Many thanks for that, it really works. And I don’t really care if the container is .mov or .mkv.
I just hope they don’t brake this in future releases again (and then having someone coming around the corner and telling me it merely was a dirty “hack” anyways…)

And yes - viewing a temporary export file was a work around solution aka HACK.

What we really want to know is when the LIVE-PREVIEW for EXPORTS would come back…

One such defender is worse for the company than ten enemies!
The worst thing in a person is a patronizing attitude towards others.

Yes. I have a 13900K. This program is the only one that crashes my computer. I recommend downloading a program called " Process Lasso". Then, when running TVAI set the CPU affinity on the process "FFMPEG: to “disable hyper threading”. I haven’t had a errors since

I had wondered what those “duplicate” temp files were doing in my export folderat the end of processing, I’d have two “exact” files one taking up disk space (no biggie) then del. the temp one. how about after a complete and successful export Topaz auto deletes the temp file(s) (at least an option) , it is annoying those piled up temp files after doing a batch process of short clips. And to be honest here, afaik, there may be a way to do that now, just haven’t researched.

Started to render 2 files last night both showed apx 3 hrs remaining, 3 hours later the timer was still a spinn’ and only a handful of minutes had passed… so I let it run through the night, over 12 hours later one had exported, the other is still working away.
3 hours remaining at export start ,turns into over 12 hour export time? cant make decisions based on that gap!

Do you notice a performance hit from disabling hyperthreading?
