Thank you, it would be excellent to be able to choose which method.
By the way, as someone commented that people tend to post criticisms, I should add that I have no complaints now about other aspects of TVAI that I use. Previews aside, it does what I need and want - my focus is on 360/480i/p upscaled to 2x or 4x and all resolutions at 2x to 4x slomo - and that’s all good for me.
H265 Main (INTEL) and H265 Main10 (INTEL) options in the export section are bugged. No matter which bitrate I chose, I end up getting ~10 Mb/s. Please take a look into it.
Be patient and give them more time to refine the app. Like someone once said; Rome and Pavia were not built in a day…
~10 Mb/s is the average bitrate for the chosen resolution and depends also of the motion and other aspects of the input.
If you use the CLI you can choose higher bitrates and better encoding profiles
Yes but what you said only makes sense when Auto option is selected. There is a drop down menu and they provided us with variety of bitrate options… Yet chosing one doesn’t do anything. This is clearly a bug.
I was told that apparently my video has no more information. If the video is larger HD or 4K, then the bitrate will be larger…
My video was a 4K 24p 4:2:2 10bit H265 video with 100Mb/s bitrate, straight out of Sony A7 IV camera. I chose to convert frame rate to 30p. Topaz Video AI made it a mushy mess with 10Mb/s bitrate, despite I chose 120Mb/s in the bitrate option.
I always choose 180 and the maximum is 20Mbs
after the announcement and release of the driver - Pixel Perfect: RTX Video Super Resolution Now Available | NVIDIA Blog
resizing/upscaling of “topaz video” has become better
A new version is now available.
It sounds like the max bitrate of your file may only be 10Mb/s?
Ah, that is odd, can you please upload the input and exported file?
You can securely submit your files(s) to our Dropbox using the link below. Please be sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something.
