Thanks as always for the update!

Please devs, evaluate my feature request:

in addition, it would be great if you could also add another ‘simple’ function that is requested by many people like me: being able to cut the video frame-by-frame, as was the case with version 2.6.x

Latest update and I am seeing about 1.8-2.5fps on a 1080 to 4k + proteus.

The preview seems to be stuck again. The processing of a movie is 10 % through and the preview is not running.

I would like to request an ‘end of exporting’ procedure. By this I mean we are given a choice of what the program does when the exporting has completed. 1) Shut the computer down, 2) Computer sleeps, 3) Do nothing.
I (and I suspect others) have a slow computer (gpu) and often the rendering process takes many hours for me. It would be nice if we can tell the program to shut down the computer when done so I don’t have to get up weird times of the night. (Thanks)

Please post this in the ‘ideas’ thread:

This thread is for feedback specifically for the v3.1.5 release.

Nice to see the forum police at work .

Well otherwise there is no point in having separate topics. Let’s all just post everything in one giant thread and see how useful that becomes.

I know, just joking around, but I agree with you.

I agree with the sentiment of your replies to the other posters.

But… I don’t agree with tagging the posts so they are hidden. I think that’s overreach.

But we do have the hardware info and we can be a bit more encouraging to someone who has only been on the forum for a couple of months. Something like could we have more information like…

I think I’m mostly done with all of this. This forum is becoming depressing.

And I have asked to be removed from the forum!

Ask the developer if there is any plan to optimize the processing speed. The current way of processing video seems to be from beginning to end.
For example, when processing video, dividing the video into multiple blocks and multi-threading should greatly improve the processing speed. Divided into 3 parts, that’s a 300% speed increase
Compared with other software, Topaz Video AI’s most critical shortcoming is that the CPU/GPU load is always unstable. It has not been 100%
Look forward to hearing from you. Thank you

How about next time you guide the person that posts as to what would add to their post. Flagging it these cases is inappropriate.

Random idea while it is on my mind.

A filter to select an area of the video where any eyes in that bounding box will have their eye color shifted. This is to restore eye color in poorly lit video or just change eye colors in general.
