âThe Windows Installer service cannot install the upgrade patch because the program that is being updated may be missing, or because the upgrade patch would update a different version of the program. Make sure that the program you want to upgrade is installed on the computer and that you are installing the correct upgrade patch.â
Hello, thanks for reporting this. For anyone who has any issues with in-app updater please uninstall and use the download link to install. We are looking into remedying future version in-app updates. If anyone else sees this issue please comment below with the version you upgraded from.
Is it just me, or does everything related to previews no longer work? It shows âprocessingâ and then displays the âoriginalâ again. This happens to me in âLive renderâ as well as when I set it to process a specific duration. Only if I use an external player can I see what was processed.
I noticed this in the Beta version as well, but I didnât get a chance to report it.
Edit: Apparently, after I specified once again where to create the temporary files, the preview is working.
Is it just me, or have none of the most egregious errors been fixed? Like always starting in âTrialâ mode, and Preview horrendously broken on all levels.
I recently bought a PC with one of the new Ryzen 9 AI processors. I notice Video AI does not make use of its AI NPU. Any plans on supporting it with a future release?
I assume youâre talking about a laptop equipped with Ryzen AI. As far as I know, there are only laptops on the market equipped with this kind of processor.
Iâd advise a bit of caution - could you check, if the folder used for keeping the previews (or user TEMP folderâs whole content - which is something not advisable if there is a program running and using some other temporary files) is being wiped out at VEAIâs exit?
Hi, since I export in ProRes, I have a dedicated NVMe SSD specifically for this purpose, essentially a âsacrificialâ SSD, so the temporary directory is located on it. I checked, and TVAI doesnât delete anything on exit, nor does the default OS temporary directory get affected.
Hey could you let me know what you mean by âafter I specified once again where to create the temporary filesâ? so what was your steps to resolve the issue? It might help me figure out what is going on.
Still waiting for ProRes Export to be compatible with Adobe Creative Cloud products when on Apple Silicon Macs. Itâs now been broken since April. If itâs not going to be supported, can you please put that in the release notes?
