I have a problem
I imported several photos into the program
Then I ran the standard Max and Wonder model on one of the photos. I wanted to apply it to all the photos, but unfortunately they are not applied and I have to do it one by one manually. Please fix the program. But I had no problem with the previous versions and I was doing it in groups. Your program is flawed.
It has been almost 2 months since the huge shift to a subscription model. Topaz told us about all the benefits for customers. There have been no updates to speak of in all this time to Photo and Gigapixel. In other words, updates are much slower and less frequent than before the big switch.
I am just wondering when all the benefits to customers will start appearing? I guess Topaz did not set expectations well. I, and maybe many others, were expecting that with the big, new revenue stream that we would be seeing more and better updates instead of much less like we have seen.

Thanks both for your feedback! There is no timeline on when new models and updates are set to release, but we are working to release them when ready. There is an update coming soon for Studio Topaz Photo to support Intel Macs, which was widely requested, as well as new models that were in beta testing and were tweaked based on beta testers feedback. More models are being beta tested as well and will continue to be released with time! Some periods between updates will be quicker, others longer, depending on the enhancements and fixes being worked on!
We are working on batch processing fixes for these 2 beta generative models and can tag you once it is fixed! Thanks for flagging. I added your contact information on the 2 tickets for each enhancement.

That is true! The new Studio apps was a big change and with time yes we hope to get more updates out faster. We will continue to work on fixes and feature requests, and have multiple fixes and new models coming, and Intel Mac support as well! Have a great day!

OK, faster updates carry the risk of containing more bugs. But arround 8 weeks we see no sign of life or any information.

We have new models being tested with our beta testers and will release them as soon as possible, and are working on Intel Mac Support for users on these machines and not yet on M Chip processors.
I have shared your feedback (from you and Tostanica) to Lingyu, our Product Manager in a meeting yesterday about wanting more frequent updates. As mentioned, there is no timeline on when updates are released, but we are continuously working on fixes and new models, and the frequency of releases can and will shift over time.
For now - We are planning to release an update later this week!

I guess Iām old school (besides just old)ā¦I prefer non-buggy (as much as possible) commercial releases vs shove it out the door, wait till everyone screams, then address a bunch of serious issues across a variety of systems that requires users to uninstall or roll back. But, that could well be just me. I prefer the tweaking gets done before production release ā¦. to reinforce a quality software reputation.
Some of us have been testing our little fingers off to promote that end.
100% agree and your continuous feedback on beta testing helps us get there! We have users that want more updates quicker, and then other that mention too many updates and to release them only 4 times a year, and with more bug fixes. As a beta tester you see and know we are continuously working on new models and bug fixes. Intel Mac support will make a lot of happy users, we have bug fixes coming as well and the feedback on the upcoming new Animal Sharpen model was great, and eager for it to be released!
Yes, I also want better quality and fewer bugs. We shall see if that is what we get. Fingers crossed.
Expectations were set by Topaz though and promises made when the change to subscription was done though that there would be more frequent and better releases. The quote above is not the only one.

Yes. Agree absolutely. The statement about motivation for the switch to subs was explicitly put out as āmore & rapid new features and releases as well as faster bug fixesā. The unsaid implication (at least to me) was that it would enable hiring more highly experienced devs (SEās) and possibly strategic partner biz dev types & providing them with whatever resources would be required to achieve the stated motivation.
Can someone help me? Maybe Iām missing something, but how do I apply Wonder to a bunch of images and batch export them? I tried selecting all images and selecting apply current settings, but but didnāt work. I want to batch export many images using wonder.
@mobile3dwag-42472 - for now batch processing with Wonder will only be possible in Topaz Gigapixel which you have access to. For Topaz Photo - We are looking to further optimize Wonder and other generative models in Topaz Photo to allow for batch processing locally and on the cloud. Right now, to use Gigapixel and it will work. I added your contact information on the batch processing development team ticket for Wonder and can tag you once its implemented!
I, for one, am looking forward to the big, impressive updates to Photo, Gigapixel, Video, etc. with higher quality and fewer bugs.

As a founding customer I have access to run Wonder model locally, but at the moment in the 1.0.1 version I can only run it in the cloud. Is anyone experiencing the same problem or am I miss something? In Gigapixel I can run it locallyā¦

Iām unable to run the Wonder model locally also. I get a spinning circle of death that continually says, āPreparing Imageā āEnhancingā. And, at the bottom of the UI is the amber error message, āError Running Modelā. See snip from one moment ago:"
Iām also a founding member and a beta tester. These are the system specs for the computer I used to see what would happen (I donāt typically work with Wonder - for various reasons - so tested specifically for you):
Win 11 PC. Processor = RTX 4090 (laptop). CPU = Intel i9 14th gen. My RAM & VRAM is more than sufficient for local processing and all drivers are up-to-date.
