Topaz Photo AI v4.0.3

@david.blades - Yes, you should see top right the v4.0.3 option to download and yes the patches of v4.0.X are included even if you were expired (not the case at the moment). You can send to support@topazlabs.com a screenshot of your entire app and logs of your app (Help, Open Logs Folder) and we can see what can be happening. The Releases thread here has the direct link at the top for now!

I am unable to access the release of TPAI. When asked to enter my email address, nothing happens. However, I can access the beta. My licence expires next August.

@rayinsanmiguel - Could be outdated graphic card (check that all your drivers are up to date, and reboot computer once updated), app not installed correctly (rerun the installer from your ā€œMy Products" page and make sure to test runnign the installer with hotspot, and firewall and anti-virus off to make sure no models are blocked) or a blocker preventing the app from veryfying the email with our servers (similar then other step - Test using a mobile hotspot and see if it unblocks. Test with firewall and anti-virus off)

Send in what exact steps were tested, the results, screenshots of the stuck behavior and your System Profile showing the lasted drivers ( How To Obtain Your System Profile (Windows)) to support@topazlabs.com and we can have a look at what can be happening and troubleshoot further!

I am on a Mac, so it’s not the drivers. And I don’t have any hotspots, firewalls or anti-virus software. The same behaviour manifested itself with v4.0.2 and I only updated that to 4.0.3 today.

Oh yes, then can rule out driver. Macs have firewalls - make sure to turn it off and retest. Send in a screen recording of the behavior and if it allows you to access the Help > Open Logs folder, send us the logs to support@topazlabs.com too. You can revert to v4.0.1 once the screen recording of the behavior and logs are sent!

Will do.

I have reverted to v4.0.1 and it exhibits the same behaviour. Seems as though I will have to stick with the beta for the time being.

I sent more steps to test! Make sure to reply to my email from Support with the tests results.

PS. There is a Mac OS update and I will install that and then run TPAI with no other programmes running ( I am currently batch processing with GPAI so don’t know if that could be an issue)

Great! Thanks for your patience in this, must of been a blocker on that older OS wich the update and/or reboot resolved. Glad all is back working and happy editing!

Yes, it’s really sad that after so many months, instead of new features, there’s only a bug-fixing update
I wonder if it’s even worth subscribing to anymore. Nothing will change now; they have new products…

I don’t know if I am allowed to say this, but there are betas of both TPAI and GPAI currently being tested,

it would be nice if something new finally came …

Yes, betas for both Photo AI and Gigapixel are in testing with new models. Stay tuned!

In my opinion, new features don’t always need to be added. I would prefer existing functions to run error-free. Therefore, all available resources should be put into bug fixes first. Only afterward should one think about new features again.

I think many users would appreciate it.

I don’t have any errors in the things I do right now, too. My primary wish is, future developments will not introduce any REGRESSION of SuperFocus. This is such a unique feature of Photo AI - none of the well-known competitors which I own is able to even come close.
