For Hypir, I set it to a fairly strong setting because the original had no hair detail. Otherwise, when the photo is of good quality to begin with, I set it to a more subtle/softer setting
.
Afterwards, the Hypir version was a first pass to then refine in Gigapixel
. It allowed for roughing out by removing the compression grain and the weird blocks of pixels typical of smartphone photos.
If you want to try it for fun on the full photo, here it is.
@Fotomaker Otherwise with a softer setting of Hypir, this result can be achieved
:
Ugh, that’s a beautiful cat! The photo with the wall and the surroundings is also nice, here it is possible to make a simple portrait of a panther from the original image, or with part of the panther’s body. Editing the image is certainly laborious, but the result is definitely worth it.
And yes, here that eyebrow is fine. I think the super long one was caused by the fact that it interfered with the edge of the cat’s ear.
Yeah, that’s possible too.
You should have used the Spot Healing tool to remove it!

HEEEELP, I’ve already paid for everything and everything else, but this window won’t close and I can’t do anything with it
Hi.
A couple of things to try
Do you by any chance have more than one Topaz account with a different email address
Here’s an alternative way to access the Home Page
Home Page
Here’s another link for your Account Page
Account Page
May or may not work but, their certainly worth a try and if it doesn’t work here’s the link to contact Topaz Support directly
Topaz Support
Hope this helps
No, I only have one email address. I’ve been using it for over a year. I had an old Topaz subscription, it expired today, and I renewed. When I click “Subscribe,” the Topaz window opens and it says “This product has been purchased.” I purchased a yearly subscription.
Hi,
As Andy (who’s also a user like you & I) suggested, it may be best for you to contact Topaz Support directly. Did you check your “My Account” page that he pointed you to to see what it says there re: dates of ownership and products owned? That’s the best 1st place to look. It’s possible your renewal just didn’t fully process yet…
This is a user-user forum. It may be more efficient for you if you contact Topaz staff with the email link Help@topazlabs.com and explain your issue. Besides, you don’t want to be sharing a lot of private info here in this public forum, I don’t think …
One thing I notice and wonder about - in one of your snips it looks as though it shows PayPal as a payment method. I know TL used to accept that. But I’m not sure if that changed since the Sept move to subscription-oriented product offerings. You could clarify that with the TL Support staff also.
Best wishes. I hope they get you squared away quickly. They’re usually very conscientious and helpful. Happy photo processing.
Your issue is as Fotomaker mentioned you have paid with your PayPal Account this method is no longer accepted and Auto-Renewal Subscriptions only work with Credit or Debit Card Details
You need to contact Topaz Support immediately because, you run the risk of losing your Subscription
I also, wish you luck in getting this issue resolved quickly with the Topaz Support Team
Best wishes
Andy
I can confirm that we have been contacted and @tkachevdanila6 decided to proceed with a subscription cancellation. I can see the root of the issue was caused by multiple subscriptions on the account, creating conflicts.
Thx for the status update, Ange!
Interesting to see in the Adobe MAX keynote today the Topaz Giga and Bloom partner models incorporated into the new Photoshop generative upscale capabilities within the Image > Image Size menu.
Gee, I’d said something like that would be helpful a while ago in beta testing. Great to see it actually materialize! ![]()
True, I tried as advised and it works great. ![]()
Goodbye Topaz, it was fun!
I thought long and hard about staying on board, but moving buttons from one place to another, interface changes, etc.—it’s not the development I expected. Perhaps someone else feels differently (and that’s okay). Also, after trying cloud rendering, it’s not as fast as it turned out to be, there are a lot of crashes, etc.
I sincerely wish you continued growth and development. Thank you all, and have a great time!
That is great news, thanks for the heads-up!
Of course, this brings up some questions about business models…
Indeed it does. Especially to someone like me with an M&A career bkgrnd.
Best I can tell is the Photoshop version is a limited implementation (2X-4X only), not sure about subsequent settings.
Topaz Denoise and Sharpen have been added to the Photoshop Filter Menu and along with Gigapixel and Bloom are classed as Partner Models which you’re need a Genaitive Premium Subscription on top of the current Adobe Subscription
