I am having the same issue. Using the exact steps described above. The image “processes” for over 10 minutes and then comes back with the code note above.
I decided to try to process the image without “upscaling” even though it is recommended when using the “faces” functionality. Image exported this time but the upscaling would have helped.
This 3221226505 error is a LrC Warning that you have a memory peak. You can either disregard it or check your System Profile to see if you need a driver update or to make sure it meets the minimum requirements.
FOR A DRIVER UPDATE
You can send us your System Profile to support@topazlabs.com and we can return links to the latest driver
If you do not meet the minimum requirements, you can force Photo AI to use your CPU instead. For this Open Photo AI as a standalone from the Desktop shortcut, then go to Edit > Preferences > General > AI Processor and put it to CPU then save. CPU is a workaround and does not change the computer would not meet requirements.
Also if you can, please try to recreate this crash in Topaz Photo AI, then go to Help > Open Log Folder, please send me all of the files within that folder. You should be able to attach them directly as a response to this thread.
Can you confirm which path you are using to send the photo to Photo AI from Lightroom Classic?
File > Plug-in Extras > Process with Topaz Photo AI
Photo > Edit in > Topaz Photo AI
If you would prefer you can securely submit your files(s) to my Dropbox using the link below. Make sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something.
We will create a ticket for the error 3221226505. Could you record a video of this error so I can show it to the development team? You can use the program of your choice to do a screen recording:
We recommend using Loom, which is a great free application. Here is a link to their page explaining how to download and use Loom. Once your Loom recording is ready, you will get a link to the video. Please send me this link here.
First, I understand simple sentences in English and I use Google translate to communicate with you.
Second, I tried to understand Loom videos and install it. Despite several attempts, it always returns me to the download step, even though I downloaded it. The tutorials are in English only and people speak very quickly.
So, I don’t understand why it doesn’t want to work. So I won’t be able to provide you with the requested video.
Hello, the same issue appears with me. When sending a RAW image to Topaz Photo AI from Lightroom Classic the image is being processed correctly. But after Photo AI has sent it back to Lightroom this very same message box pops up. How to fix this?
I have exactly the same problem. I watched Matt Kloskowski’s recent video on the subject which prompted me to try this feature. Unfortunately I receive an identical error.
I have this same issue. Ever since I updated to the lastest version, I can export from Lr to Topaz edit the photo but then get this error when I try and take it back into Lr.
