Topaz Photo AI [v1.x.x] on [Windows/Mac] Windows

Same problem here. I just purchased Photo AI and getting this error. I even uninstalled Lightroom Classic and Photo AI to start fresh. Same issue.

I am having the same issue. Using the exact steps described above. The image “processes” for over 10 minutes and then comes back with the code note above.

I decided to try to process the image without “upscaling” even though it is recommended when using the “faces” functionality. Image exported this time but the upscaling would have helped.

Hello all,

This 3221226505 error is a LrC Warning that you have a memory peak. You can either disregard it or check your System Profile to see if you need a driver update or to make sure it meets the minimum requirements.

FOR A DRIVER UPDATE

FOR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Make sure you have 6GB of VRAM minimum, this is marked as dedicated memory in your Dxdiag file. (System Profile).
  • System Requirements for Photo AI
  • If you do not meet the minimum requirements, you can force Photo AI to use your CPU instead. For this Open Photo AI as a standalone from the Desktop shortcut, then go to Edit > Preferences > General > AI Processor and put it to CPU then save. CPU is a workaround and does not change the computer would not meet requirements.

When I use RawDenoise and send the file back to Lightroom, there is always an error message
Capture d’écran 2024-11-12 192000

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. Select the photo in Lightroom’s Develop module;
  2. Select Process with Topaz Photo AI
  3. Apply Raw Denoise treatment and others as needed
  4. Export To LrC
  5. The computer returns to LrC and displays the dialog box indicating the error Exit code 3221226505
  6. After clicking OK on the dialog box, the processed photos appear but it looks like there is a slight loss of definition.

Is there a fix? Or do I need to change settings in LrC or Topaz Photo AI preferences to stop this error message?

Topaz Photo AI v3.3.1 on Windows

I’d like to get some more information to help troubleshoot the problem you are having.

Could you send us your computer’s full system profile?

Also if you can, please try to recreate this crash in Topaz Photo AI, then go to Help > Open Log Folder, please send me all of the files within that folder. You should be able to attach them directly as a response to this thread.

Can you confirm which path you are using to send the photo to Photo AI from Lightroom Classic?

  • File > Plug-in Extras > Process with Topaz Photo AI

  • Photo > Edit in > Topaz Photo AI

If you would prefer you can securely submit your files(s) to my Dropbox using the link below. Make sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something.

Dropbox File Request

I use File \Plug-in Extras \Process with Topaz Photo AI when the problem occurs.

I forgot something …
2024-11-13-16-46-28.tzlog (3.2 MB)

2024-11-14-11-24-5.tzlog (62.4 KB)

2024-11-13-10-43-24.tzlog (4.9 MB)
2024-11-13-21-01-3.tzlog (1.8 MB)

The other 7 files are 0 Kb and this dialog box does not accept pasting them.

I forgot this one.

We will create a ticket for the error 3221226505. Could you record a video of this error so I can show it to the development team? You can use the program of your choice to do a screen recording:

  • We recommend using Loom, which is a great free application. Here is a link to their page explaining how to download and use Loom. Once your Loom recording is ready, you will get a link to the video. Please send me this link here.

First, I understand simple sentences in English and I use Google translate to communicate with you.
Second, I tried to understand Loom videos and install it. Despite several attempts, it always returns me to the download step, even though I downloaded it. The tutorials are in English only and people speak very quickly.
So, I don’t understand why it doesn’t want to work. So I won’t be able to provide you with the requested video.

I still have this problem and it’s annoying.

I found a software that I understand better: OBS Studio. I made a short video of the problem:

Hello, the same issue appears with me. When sending a RAW image to Topaz Photo AI from Lightroom Classic the image is being processed correctly. But after Photo AI has sent it back to Lightroom this very same message box pops up. How to fix this?

I have exactly the same problem. I watched Matt Kloskowski’s recent video on the subject which prompted me to try this feature. Unfortunately I receive an identical error.

Ditto with above issue!

Same issue for me. It was working fine when I tested the free trial, but once purchased, I cannot get a photo from LRC to Photo AI.

I have this same issue. Ever since I updated to the lastest version, I can export from Lr to Topaz edit the photo but then get this error when I try and take it back into Lr.
