Same issue for me.
Also receiving the same LRC exit code 3221226505 !!! Where is the fix ???
Topaz does a fine job of denoise and sharpening but when I try to export the photo to LightRoom I get the message;
Topaz Photo AI either failed to start or did not finish successfully. Exit code 3221226505
Any suggestions ?
Thanks
Same problem.
I have also had a corresponding issue when batch processing using the LR Plugin Extras - Process in Topaz AI. I bring in 10 images and apply settings to all. They start to process and after the first one (I think once two) I get an error for the rest - Error:Error Running Model. The 1-2 that are processed and exported are gone. The others not yet exported, when I process them in Topaz individually or in small groups they process and export normally. When I return to Lightroom I get the exit code 3221226505 mentioned above. I click okay and the images that had been processed in Topaz come in, although they look a bit degraded and almost like auto-settings have been applied - higher contrast and vibrant colors.
Any ideas?
Hi all
same problem in elaboration of photo in DNG format from LrC plug-in Extra (I have the same error for 3 different photos) . I applied denoise, sharpening and in one of them, upscale. Topaz AI version 3.3.3. the same does not happen for photo in NEF format
Hi all
I did a test and worked. I imported the file directly to Topaz AI and I did the same changes and then I exported the file. It worked perfectlly as standalone. So it may be some interaction with LrC at the end of export process.
Regards
This error is not from Photo AI but from Adobe telling you your computer is running out of memory. Normally, you can just click “OK,” and the photo will still be imported to Lightroom Classic.
You will want to make sure that you are able to adjust your AI Processor for Photo AI by following the directions below:
-
Open Photo AI as a standalone application.
-
Go to Edit > Preferences > General > AI Processor
-
Set the AI Processor to CPU
-
Click Save
Try running Photo AI as a plugin for Lightroom Classic after completeing these steps to see if you continue to receive the error message. To confirm and determine why you got this error we will need the following information:
Log Files
-
To gather logs, open Photo AI go to the menu bar on top, and then go to Help > Open Log Folder.
- Please send me all of the files within that folder. You should be able to attach them directly as a response to this email.
System Profile Information

Thank you John,
I’ve done as you suggested and my problem is not gone.
Thanks again

So, for me it’s still not solved. What’s the solution?
Hello, make sure to see the yellow post above for what can cause this. Write in an email to the email address mentionned with your System Profile if any issue remains.
