PREVIEW WINDOW doesn't work properly, impossible to work

hello! trying to bring my old thread back as the problem is still exist with all the current updates.

I’ve paid $150 for the subscription and still can’t use any of the updates, which is waste of money.

here is my old thread with the description of the problem and all the information:

SPLIT LINE IS OFF, impossible to see the result

After update, my viewer is weird, I can’t even look at the right frame, because the split line has a bug, the split does its thing at completely different place, also when I zoom out all the way, there is a huge gap at the top so I still can’t fit the screen and It’s impossible to compare results, as I can barely see the other frame, I did an upgrade just so I can finish this music video on time, but now I am so stressed that I will not make it… please help me as soon as possible. Thank you for following up and providing the screen recording of the issue.

Can you also share the logs, and that video file for testing? I want to try and replicate this issue to show the team, as I was not able to do so before.

If you swap the preview mode to side by side and zoom in and out, does the video stay off center like you are seeing in the recording?

yes, I’ve swapped the preview to every mode, it’s off literally everywhere, feels like the program feels like the center of the screen is located at the different place.

Hey Kyle! Any updates? I’m trying to deal with this situation for a year already, I’ve payed money for the upgrade one year ago, ever since my Topaz Video AI is broken and i can’t use it the right way

The logs you shared are showing a TensorRT error where the GPU ran out of VRAM when running the file.

What driver version are you using on the card?

Open the Preferences Panel and change the following settings to give your card some more room to work.

File>Preferences>Processing

1. Ensure that your GPU is selected for the AI Processor

2. Set the max memory to 80%

3. Set max processes to 1

4. Save the settings and close the panel.

5. Re-run your clip through the process that you were trying.

The team is still working on the preview window situation at this time. The hard part is we have not been able to reliably replicate the situation you are seeing on various systems.

Are you running multiple monitors of various sizes, have the display screens set to a zoom level or anything outside of default settings? Trying to find possible causes, that would show the video off center the way you are seeing with your files.
