SPLIT LINE IS OFF, impossible to see the result

After update, my viewer is weird, I can’t even look at the right frame, because the split line has a bug, the split does its thing at completely different place, also when I zoom out all the way, there is a huge gap at the top so I still can’t fit the screen and It’s impossible to compare results, as I can barely see the other frame, I did an upgrade just so I can finish this music video on time, but now I am so stressed that I will not make it… please help me as soon as possible.

P.S. you can’t watch Preview in the app if the video is 3 min long, only if you click “Show in Explorer”

The team is aware of some issues with the split screen not aligning properly for a clean view and are working on this issue.

You should be able to set the view zoom level to Fit and have it show the entire frame on both sides. Is that not working for you?

The logs you shared and the preview screenshots are not showing any previews or processes being run on the video in the newer release of the app.

Yes, the zoom set to fit to screen, I’ve tried every option, the whole frame is offset, even if I have it as “single” it doesn’t sit the screen, and half of the frame is hiding at the right side of the panel even if I zoom out all the way.

I did not do the log for preview, do you need me to open another case for that?

Can you run a quick preview with applying Proteus and then send me a screenshot of the preview windows and the logs to see what is going on? Trying to gauge if the app is misreading the pixel dimensions on the video when it is bringing the file in.

I have sent the logs and your notes over to the team for investigation. Hopefully they will be able to get a better understanding of what is going on and adjust the interface and how the split screen preview works to resolve this issue.

What GPU driver are you running right now? Might want to try updating that and doing a clean install on the app to see if something was not installed properly.

Looking at the screenshots you shared the video frames are off and that is not something we have seen or been able to replicate.

I have the latest studio driver. The saddest thing is that my Topaz AI was working perfectly for 3 years, like 6 month or a year ago I’ve stopped updating, but now I had a very complicated music video so I’ve decided to subscribe for another year and update the app, which leaded me to that situation where I can’t even use the app the right way. I’ve tried reinstalling, updating my drivers, I’ve even removed all NVIDIA drivers and apps and installed them again from scratch, nothing helps.

If you roll back to version 5.3.6 which is the last version before the MPV player was added in, are you seeing the video window still showing off?

Hey Kyle, so I’ve tried to update Topaz, to the latest version, because I though that this issue is no longer a problem, but it comes back to the same issue after the update, but it worked perfectly on that built that you’ve sent me.

The team is still working on the issue with the newer MPV based player and have not resolved it just yet. Once they do there should be a mention in the patch notes though.

Just installed the new update, this issue is still here, also now my previews doesn’t work, it always shows 0%

The logs are showing that the preview is not starting as it is missing a metadata tag. Are you seeing this with other video files or just this one?

i’ve already rolled to that old version, which work perfect, I couldn’t even render the video, but at that old version I used the same file and everything was fine, I didn’t have that Issue with the preview window.
