Recover Faces crash program every time 3.3.0 in Photoshop 2025 for Mac. Used plug in for soon 2 years. No problem. After last update, nothing works.

I’m experiencing this too. Super frustrating.
I have added this forum thread to an ongoing support ticket we have open with the development team and will be sure to reach out to you on this email thread once we have released a patch that resolves this problem.
In the meantime, please use the workaround to access the Photo AI plugin for Photoshop through the path Filter > Topaz Labs > Topaz Photo AI or use Photo AI as a standalone application.
When running Photo AI from within Photoshop on Windows 11 system it give the error message “Error running model” and will not finish the process. I have tried downloading Photo AI from the Topaz web site and running the repair option but still get the same error message.

Topaz Photo AI 3.3.0 on Windows 11 version 24H2.
This error means something blocked/prevented all the AI models from downloading during installation.
Here are the steps to follow to resolve this issue:

Important: Make sure you turn off your firewall, antivirus, and VPN (you can turn them back on once the installation process is done)

You can download a new installer from your account’s download page | Topaz Labs | My Account | Download Page
Once you download and open this new version, you should be able to click on the blue ‘Activate’ button and log in with your email that is associated with your Topaz Labs Account and password.
Once authenticated, please try the same model again and let me know if you get the error.
Ok, I have followed your instructions and turned off my Microsoft Security firewall and also turned off Malwarebytes. I downloaded a fresh copy of Photo AI and chose the uninstall option and then reinstalled it. Unfortunately I still get the exact same error as before:
I have attached the two most recent log files from Photo AI for your reference. I have also attached a copy of the image that I am trying to process with Photo AI.
Please advise on how to proceed.

Is this only occurring while using the Face Recovery enhancement?
No, it occurs without me taking any action, just letting it analyze the image and then the error message appears.

3.30 Error Recover Face run run run and don`t stop.
When use in Photoshop 2025.
No problems before. Seems like there is a bug the update today.

I’d like to get some more information to help troubleshoot the problem you are having.
Could you send us your computer’s full system profile?
Also if you can, please try to recreate this crash in Topaz Photo AI, then go to Help > Open Log Folder, please send me all of the files within that folder. You should be able to attach them directly as a response to this thread.

I have the same problem. Program stoped working after last update. Recover Face 2 is the big problem
