Intel ARC 3.0.12

Hello,

Finally came back to VEAI since I now have a capable enough GPU for it to be usable (previously working with 2GB VRAM), and the latest software I have on my license is v3.0.12, however it keeps only attempting to use my CPU even though my Intel A770 GPU is selected:

I’m guessing that because it is an older version of the program that it may possibly just be that it doesn’t support the latest Intel ARC drivers, if that is the case, could you provide a download link for the last known working driver for this version?

I have tried both with reBAR enabled and disabled. I also tried replacing the appropriate openVINO files as had been suggested in another forum post about Intel ARC, however when doing that the program simply instead failed to open.

Here are the logs for when it ends up just using my CPU:

Many thanks,
Elliott Dyson.

Right… however people still have had it operating and working since 2.6.4, in fact I can get it to work on 2.6.4 because I know what driver is needed for it, however, I wanted to know from the developers what the last supported driver was that is known to work with 3.0.12.

Thanks for the link. I just hope whatever this new driver does also enables usage with 3.0.12

Also, their issue is with the encoding/decoding, whereas mine is with the GPU not being used whatsoever, and it seems to be running in a CPU-only mode.

We have a new build out with some fixes for Intel ARC. Would you be able to test this version and compare GPU utilization?
