Are there any updates on the Intel Arc situation?

Since roughly TVAI 3.1.10, Intel Arc GPUs were likely to encounter “Unknown errors” while processing.

It is now roughly 5 months later, and TVAI 3.4.0 released with Intel Arc processing being listed as potentially fixed [1]. But it seems TVAI 3.4.0 is even worse, with frequent error messages:

C:\Path\To\Topaz Video AI\gna.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again. Error Status 0xc0000428

This has occurs in 3.4.0, 3.4.1, 3.4.2. Suggesting reinstalling the program doesn’t fix the issue and it’s more likely that the file has an error.

So I was wondering, were there any updates on this?
Are there still plans to fix it? Has the issue been identified? Is there a rough time frame on when a fix might be implemented?

I have the same angst. When is this going to be resolved?

Hello,

We don’t have an estimate for when Intel ARC issues will be resolved, but our current recommendation is to use this driver version, which is reported to be more stable for the majority of ARC users working with Video AI.
