Trying to update to latest version - notified today that there was an update. All seemed to be going fine
Steps to reproduce issue:
Topaz Photo AI [v1.x.x] on [Windows/Mac] I was on 3.? but after the crash on updating reloading Topaz gives me just 3. I don’t know what to do now as I am not offered the update when I open Topaz.
Sometimes your system network settings might be blocking the application ability to download all the required files for installation.
First, please disable antivirus, firewall, VPN, or proxy that may be on your computer. These are known to block the installer from downloading the application properly.
Can you confirm with me if you have any of these on your machine?
Thanks John. I do have antivirus but i don’t think that interfered. When i restarted my computer the next day i opened Topaz and all seemed to work but i still didn’t know whether the update had taken place. It just said version 3.Yesterday i had more time. I selected check for updates and was informed that i had the latest and it gave me the version. So all was well. I also updated my laptop version. This time an error camei up stating that the uodate had been interuoted and so i tried again and all was well.This is the first time i have had a problem with Topaz in nearly two years so i am very satisfied with the product and your help response
