Windows 11 in-application update still fails

1 Click on Update available. Download will happen but will result in
following popup and termination of update:

There may be an issue with your in-app update option with Topaz Photo AI.

Please make sure you’ve also turned off any firewall, VPN, or proxy that may be on your computer. These are known to block the installation.

Also, make sure no settings configuration in your Windows system could interfere.

Hi John,

I closed Wimdows 11 Firewall. I have no proxy or VPN here. I then
un-installed PhotoAI-3.0.0
and removed whatever traces I could find. (Nothing in registry) Then
re-installed from TopazPhotoAI-3.0.0.msi,
downloaded version 3.0.1 from your link. Launched 3.0.0 which resulted
in message. Started update
which gave me option; clicked on that and immediately got
same popup again about log directory :frowning:

I wound up installing 3.0.1 from the msi downloaded from your link as I
can not find how to upgrade from the link. I
checked preferences and nothing is blocked.
