After rendering the software interface becomes non responsive. The drop down menus from the very top of the screen are still accessible but when I select quit there is a lag of about one minute before the quit confirmation button appears.

Which TVAI version?
I encountered the same mainly on the 3.4.0.0.a alpha version - Mac Studio as well.
The release version 3.3.10 mostly works, though
This is quite odd! Are you able to share a screen recording?
I do not see anything out of place in your logs and I have not encountered this issue on my Mac using v3.3.10
Oftentimes it is easiest to share a screen recording for issues like this to quickly show me exactly what is happening. I use Loom for screen recordings since this is a free and easy to use app.
