Video AI 7.0 - NEW Starlight Mini (Local) AI Model

like with MSI Afterburner?

No, in the topaz management models,

Oh! Okay, I gotcha. What are you at? like 90%

At 90%, it will increase the speed, in my case by 2 fps. But the problem is probably due to other components.

Well, there’s like a million variables, so yeah, who knows?
Got a pretty kick ass system though

Lol getting a whopping .7 FPS on a RTX 4080 using Starlight Mini going from 480p to 1080p

How long did it take to start processing?
How long was it taking to Load Model…?

I went off to make a quick cup of tea since it looked like it was going a while so I didn’t catch the start. Would guess around 10 minutes?

Oh NVM. I finally got a timeline… 6 hrs for a 20 minute video from 480p to 960p. lol.
Yikes

Your 4090 is faring quite a bit better then. My export shows ~15hours remaining for a 23 minute clip

looks like im gonna have to drop $1100 on Video Ai Pro to utilize all four of my GPUs at once, because this wait time isn’t gonna work. 6 hrs?lol

Starlight and Starlight Mini both save files with the same identifier. Might be a good idea to give them different ones.

Lower the VRAM usage to about 70%

0.7fps on SD x1 Original is the top speed I have achieved (throttled at 74%) on Starlight mini. Using 2x it dropped to 0.1fps and STILL gave a 720p output (i.e. same as x1 Original).

Give a try: You can join vobs together and pack the mpeg-2 into a MKV file, then give this TVAI

I’m at work and can’t test now, does it as in beta 2x, 3x, 4x, is 1080p possible with a 640x480 source, or only 960x720 and 1920x1440 as in beta?

I went down to 70% with the VRAM, then back up to 90. FPS stayed at .7. Had no effect.

As I interpret Topaz labs statements, less vram increases the speed, but reduces the quality, but not the single image quality the consistency of the video, frames to each other, maybe this will be more visible with fast movements? Well now it’s about trying it out we’ll see

…or let it run a second PC and you have the main free.
