Known Issues:
Deinterlacing with 2x FPS triggers frame rate conversion model (Chronos Fast)
Certain VOB files do not open correctly
Some videos can still have some seeking issues in Preview/Export
Color space / HDR issues
Keyboard navigation missing
Intel codec not working on some machines
Some quality mismatch between 2.6.4 and 3.0
Multiple selection for input videos is missing
Different view mode is still missing
Problems and Solutions:
Make sure Max. Memory Usage in the Preferences is set to a high number.
For image sequence, select only one image from the sequence, the app should import the entire sequence.
Make sure the output resolution is 4k or below for H.264 encoder.
If the output doesn’t open in other applications, disable Allow Recovery before processing in Preferences > Output (note: Allow Recovery is required for previewing exported video in the app while processing)
If export fails, try using Transcode/None/Auto in Audio Settings in Preferences
Testing on Mac Studio M1 Max. Similar to early 3.0.0, video preview stutters, disappears (waiting for preview) and reappears often. Still it doesn’t affect overall performance
@suraj@nipun.nath The last preview you run still gets left behind even if you choose “Remove All” because the software still doesn’t close the open file handle of the last preview and can’t delete it, nor can you delete it manually until you fully close the software. Yes, I’ve clicked “Close Preview”, but the last one remains locked by the software.
The notes in the main post indicate that the temp folder gets cleaned up. That remains incorrect in this version.
certainly they didn’t had the time to put a beta word on the new icon or maybe forgot it, ahah. so certainly on the next early access version out next week, the new icon will be there, but maybe not on the betas ;).
Yeah I wasn’t talking about that. The entire icon was different in the early release version and now is reverted back to the old beta icon in this version
Is there currently no way to cancel a running export, other than exiting the application? Once I exited out of the running preview, closed all videos etc, I could not find a cancel button. I am using 225% display scaling on the system I tested this version on.
Were you in the currently running section or the preview section? Clicking on the number in the bottom right shows the currently running upscales, the other section is the preview section where you can continue to work on other files while upscales are running
The currently running section didn’t show. I can see now that it is available via clicking the number next to the “export” button, thanks! But this section can not be revealed via any other obvious menu entry or UI element.
