“Upscale to 4K” preset in Topaz Video AI v.4.1.0 is not working as intended.
When selected, it either:
Does not do anything if no changes have been made to the Export settings.
If changes have been made to the Export settings, then choosing “Upscale to 4K” resets the Input parameters to the default.
Steps to reproduce:
Input any video, let’s say 1920x1080 at 30 FPS
Make changes to video, i.e. set export to 3840x2160 and 60 FPS
If you choose to select “Upscale to 4K” from here, the video will default back to the input settings of 1920x1080 at 30 FPS.
Expected behavior:
Case 1) Preset should appropriately apply the desired resolution (4K in this case) instead of doing nothing.
Case 2) Settings should not revert back to the original input.
This has already thrown me off a few times, admittedly.
I haven’t tried this particular preset, but I only ever use any preset as a starting point and make my own changes to suit my needs. I always end up with a few variations and just give them sequential numbers after the name so that I can decide which is doing the job for me. I think the existing presets are basically a ‘one size fits all’ approach as everybody’s needs will depend on several factors and maybe there’s a setting in the one you’ve mentioned that doesn’t mesh with the specific source material, etc.
cuando pongo mi present me sale la resolucion normal pero deveria estar en 2x pero cuando lo hago update para regesar a su resolucion como estaba y me salgo de topaz y sigue el problema de poner normal en resolucion y no en 2x y eso paso con la mayoria de mis present
