Unsupported .HEIC codec

It would be great if TPAI can support this feature / codec.

Apologies. New here.
Admin, please remove my post. TY

It has already been moved, HEIC from what camera? As far as I can see it is only Nikon compressed HEIC that isn’t supported.

Just provide the information about what you have tried to open that doesn’t.

HEIC pictures from my Xiaomi 11T Pro are also not opened anymore.

Unsupported feature: Unsupported codec

Worked fine before.

OK I have switched it to a Bug report because you claim it opened in the previous version. Support will reply as soon as they can.

The .heic codec is used with my iPhone14 and iOS platform. FYI
In order to process the image in TPAI (standalone), it will need to be converted first. I suppose if the image is already opened in Affinity (in my case), it should work ok with the plug-in.

Never used .heic files before, but just got Photo AI 2.1.3 downloaded and my photos are from an iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Error is Unsupported feature: Unsupported codec.

I can convert the files, but an intermediary step is undesirable.

Same issue here with Mac Studio Max running macOS 14.1.2 Sonoma. Not 100% sure when this issue began, and I can’t remember the last time I edited a HEIC file, but it worked previously. Could be new as of the most recent 14.1.2 security update? Here’s the two different errors I’ve seen …

No. It’s not due to MacOS but only due to TPAI 2.1.3 - as it worked in 2.1.1 and 2.1.2.
