Attempting to render simultaneously with Topaz while another programme is running (Mercalli V6 SAL) resulted in an error.

Do you run into the issue when only running Video AI?

No. When I run Video AI on my own, it works flawlessly.

That would point to the other apps pulling resources that Video AI is needing for the processing. Video AI is a memory intensive app and pulling away VRAM for another task can lead to errors.

You can try setting a memory limit on Video AI if you need to run other tasks and this can help reduce the errors in some situations.

File>Preferences>Processing

  1. Ensure that your GPU is selected for the AI Processor
  2. Set the max memory to 80%
  3. Set max processes to 1
  4. Save the settings and close the panel.
  5. Re-run your clip through the process that you were trying.
