Had my PC lock up in a screensaver just 10 minutes after leaving topaz ai running, I also had switch monitor to another PC. Unsure if Topaz played a role? But if anything can be looked into there… is there a way Topaz AI can have an option to prevent sleep? (I dont think my PC should have gone to sleep so fast but just mentioning). Maybe it was an issue with the number of output devices changing while also Topaz AI was running since I switched monitors with a KVM switch while Topaz was running? Was not logging
Temp files are usually not deleted even after application shutdown. Was also occurring in v3.1.9.
Edit: Just to note that this is not related to crashing or abnormal application termination (I’ve never had VAI crash on me), it’s happening even when gracefully exiting the application.
Appreciate the weekly updates and am excited about the potential of this software!
I’m sure it’s in the roadmap, but it would be great to train the ML models more on human skin so that the output looks less cartoonish when processing from low-res sources.
The Topaz program has always worked well. Installed version 3.1.10. The program worked well. Today I installed a free version of DaVinci Resolve on the computer. Rebooted the computer. Topaz stopped working. I removed Topaz. Then I installed it again. Still doesn’t work. Writes:- Some parameter(s) may not be supported by the codec. Check FFmpeg command.
hello yazi, I will keep an eye on it but I don’t know how to record this to a video properly because on a recording my mouse clicks are not being vizualised. Do you know a tool with a nice visual mouse click effect? That would be quite helpful.
