We’d love to get the logs from both versions after running a process through to see what might be going on. Was it just the speeds that were affected or were there any other issues?
Topaz Labs,
Your Video AI is currently the most buggy application on my computer. Incredibly, after three years your technical staff still haven’t corrected last frames being dropped from output ProRes files. And your current version of Video AI (v.06?) does not successfully render frame-per-second modification.
It is commercially absurd to ask your customers to download and install earlier versions of Video AI, simply to render clips moderately successfully (as suggested earlier versions of this app’ drop frames on rendering). Do you need reminding customers pay a yearly subscription to your company to receive product updates that you claim improve on, and technically surpass past versions of products? This has not been the case with Topaz Labs’ Video AI. I and many others have paid Topaz Labs for updates that have not improved on past errors. Please, enough of the marketing tub thumping and just fix your product faults.
