Topaz Video AI requires unusually long rendering time

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am using Topaz AI Video to convert 4 second clips from 720p 24fps to 1080p fps. Until recently, the conversion process took about 10 seconds per clip. Recently, the conversion process takes 10 to 15 minutes for about 50% of the clips, which is more than 60 times longer.
I have the latest version of Topaz Video AI running on a very fast and powerful computer with Win 11.
I have no explanation for this problem.
I hope you can help me further. Kind regards, Andreas

Small addendum: I have noticed that if I pause the process and then resume it, the rendering time shrinks back to the usual 10 seconds

In the logs it looks like you are experiencing the known issue in v5.2.1 where the AI Processor gets reset to Auto and can swap from the GPU card to the CPU which is slower.

If you can update to v5.2.2 and then set the AI Processor to your 3060 Ti GPU card in the Preferences Panel>Processing and then run your export again and that should get you back to the normal processing speeds.

Thank you very much, I have done that. I’ll check if it works during the next conversion process.
