Video AI randomly closes while a render is in progress. There is no crash notice, pop-up, or error message. The application window disappears, but Task Manager shows ffmpegstill running and consuming most system resources, which suggests the render is continuing in the background. This has been happening for a while, but recently it’s gotten to the point where it’s genuinely frustrating.
When reopening Topaz Video AI after the crash, the active render session is gone and the app behaves as if it was opened fresh. However, the render is still visible in Task Manager through ffmpeg, which continues using most of the system resources. This happens consistently, especially when I leave the PC unattended, meaning I have to babysit the application or it closes.
