Yeah, Rhea XL is currently not usuable for anything serious.
I use Rhea XL for hand selected scenes, but of course this is very time-consuming if a model is not usable over all, when different models must be used on a scene-based basis
this is the original SD version untouched. the untouched version you can see the detail but its all blurred out. (early 2000 cheap cameras + super compressed for 2000’s tv cable + then compressed again for old 2010 youtube) that is the result. only way to get a decent SD copy would be if Nsync would do like a dvd/bluray music videos compilation for sale, and this video is quite rare since is actually them singing on spanish. was about the time some artist tried to cross over, like shakira that started singing in spanish only (her native language) then singing in english as well, doing double versions of her songs even to this day.
edit: this is the original is you wanna compare (cut the first seconds since its a lame intro made in the day for mtv most likely)
YIKES! That source really is low-quality, but still better than what Proteus v4 made of it:
Did you think it would be better at 720p? You thought wrong!
Iris2 turned the lot into a downright crime-scene:
And Rhea 1 makes these humans look like a living rarity cabinet:
Gaia:
Conclusion: whatever program was used to remaster/upscale the low-res 480p clip, is, bizarrely, 10x better than TVAI.
The rest of the video doesn’t seem so bad. I would try snipping the equivalent distance shots from the much higher quality English language version and dropping its video over this one. It’s distant enough and brief enough that viewers probably won’t be able to tell that the lips and sound are “unsync.”
that a real fix for sure
the cip from youtube its the original never upscaled. the 480P was the cable tv/earlier youtube “HD” of the times. the english version was remastered from original footage witch is professional quality. i guess the best is take the zoomed out footage from the english version and replace this. still not doing that too much work lol.
Anyone experiencing stuttering in the output’s video result?
In versions lower than 5.4 i do not get it.
Tried every encoding format and codec.
That will be the (severe) frame loss due to the VFR bug (that, for reasons unknown, continues to not get fixed). Run the command line manually, and see the many frames get dropped.
Yeah i did. Lots of frames lost.
The result is unwatchable. Hope it gets adressed.
