Hi, when is next Topaz Video AI Alpha?

When is Hyperion expected to make beta release? Will try when it enters beta status.

Good news: The settings are now staying consistent when clicking on previews. Iris no longer changes to Proteus.

The issues I had seem to be resolved, the frame interpolation bug is fixed as well (thank you!).
I think I noticed a dangerous bug in this beta - the TEMP folder (or any folder pointed in this beta’s settings for previewing purposes) might get wiped at application exit. Could you check that, dear devs? I really hope I’m wrong.
I noticed my TEMP folder suddenly being almost empty after program’s ‘Save and Exit’ being used, as I also ‘refreshed’ where the downloaded model files should land. ‘TEMP\VEAI Workspaces’ folder I created artificially, to check, if that’s happening, also got wiped out from existence.
This could also happen in stable 5.3.5, so I’d advice a bit of caution. I’m a bit scared to test it now.

EDIT: I think I know, why the beta wiped out the whole TEMP folder - the program didn’t create the ‘VEAI Workspaces’ folder I pointed at in the settings, VEAI beta did put the intermediate files in the TEMP itself, then, during the exit, VEAI cleaned up the folder, as it would do with the ‘VEAI Workspaces’ insides. I think it’s a bit dangeous, because TEMP includes some needed files for other application operations sometimes at the same time. Could you set the VEAI up so it doesn’t wipe the TEMP itself, but creates some default subfolder (if user didn’t point at it themselves) within it and operates on that?

There’s still an issue with the timeline - mouse roll does the zoom-in at the beginning of the file/timeline, not at the cursor, and the timeline zoom factor is way too crazy big. That happens on the 5.3.5 stable, too.

A small video about the timeline bug, and how everything concerning playback other users and I reported - is fixed (thanks, again!):

About Live Render - is it being performed at 1x video size? This preview looks better, than the export for the most part. Of course until I start scrubbing back and forth, because then the small MP4 files come into play, and these are bad-quality encoded for this purpose. A slight change in ffmpeg’s params, please?

If live preview processing is done at 1x video size (probably because of speed), could you also add a checkbox for processing the video in this mode at the chosen resize factor? It’ll be slower, but the result will not differ as much.
