We’re excited to announce a quick but important update to the application with this patch, fixing an issue with our Davinci Resolve Plugin which was preventing Video AI from being used with this application. We’ve also fixed similar issues with the Adobe After Effects integration.
Note that we’ve combined the two Davinci Resolve plugins into a single plugin in order to prevent crashes and conflicts, so there is an updated workflow.
Now, if you want to add multiple effects inside of Davinci Resolve such as Interpolation and Enhance or Motion Deblur, you’ll need to apply multiple instances of the plugin to achieve this effect.
But TopazVideoAI 6.2.1 has not improved either.
Picture quality is just as bad.
Export is just as slow.
The new RTX5000 graphics cards are still not 100% supported with maximum performance.
Still English, not German multilingual.
Still no button setting when export is finished that shuts down the computer.
And not that much.
Hi there! I know this might not be the best place to ask, and it could be a little early, but I was wondering if there’s any estimate for when v7 will move out of beta and become a stable release.
I’ve been holding off on buying a license for a while, but the Starlight mini model with local processing has me really excited. I tried it on the trial version and was seriously impressed. It’s a huge improvement over any previous model. I’ve used the software extensively on a friend’s PC over the years, and I’m strongly considering buying it myself once v7 is officially stable.
Hi. Reporting another immediate crash after upgrade to video 6.2.1 on separate Macs:
Sonoma 15.3.2 running M1 Pro
Sonoma 15.4.1 running M4 Pro
When attempting to import MP4 or MOV the software crashes immediately. Persists after restart, deletion of ~/Library/Application Support/CoreML folder, and inside new user.
Gigapixel is the first app with multi-lingual support. Please make sure to support our efforts for Gigapixel if you’re a user there in the next release! If things go well - we’ll look at rolling this out to the other 2 desktop apps.
For many people Rhea V1 would be the go-to model. But instead of listening to the users feedback that was given when Rhea was in beta - that is it often tries too much to enhance unfocussed objects in the background, even none face objects - Rhea XL was introduces, that makes it even worse, because it tries even harder to enhance details.
