Start a project (such as an upscale using the Nyx model) and be sure to set some custom Dynamic parameters under Enable Parameters.
Start to export.
Visit the Export Queue to see how much more time is remaining on the export.
Then return to Adjustments (perhaps with the intent to fine tune your adjustments further).
You will find all your custom parameters in Adjustments have erroneously reset to defaults. That includes all the parameters set in the Enable Parameters area, and some of the options above that such as Recover Detail.
My experience of this (on my MacMini M2 Sonoma) is limited to a project I began working on in version 6.0 that uses the Nyx model with some custom Dynamic parameters to upscale. I cannot say if the unwanted resetting to default parameters affects every AI model or just Nyx.
Until this is fixed, save your custom Preset immediately before running an export (which granted is best-practice), and remember to reload it when you come back to the Adjustments to do more fine-tuning. If you do not do so, you’ve lost your latest parameter adjustments - which you may have spent hours on. Or, never visit the Export Queue. (Or take a screenshot of your Adjustments panel immediately before every Export.) *
- Relatedly: A “sidecar” file should be automatically generated with every video Export - a small text file listing every setting that the Export is using. That way people can easily tune-in the same settings later on, even if they don’t have a custom Preset of it.
