I noticed this peculiarity: iris or any other model becomes, for example, at a speed of 2.3 fps, but when there are 10 seconds left until the end, the speed sharply increases to 30 fps. So she can have such speed, but something is stopping her?
I think what you’re seeing is the converting of the temp file to the finished export. I’ve seen this happen with surges of 100+ fps.

While this is the latest version of Video AI and even the last beta forum is closed already I would like to ask for help here. I am looking for an old beta version 2.2.0.0.b Unfortunately the beta versions of 2.x.x are not shown in the history anymore.
After some advice, I saw an old comment from 2022 about converting 24fps to 60fps, at that time they advised to not go straight to 60fps in one go. They said to go from 24fps to 30fps, 50fps then 60fps. Apparently going from 24 to 60 can cause judder and other issues. Seems like a lot of work to export the video 4 times to achieve it. Anyone do this or is it no longer an issue with v4 and above?
NYX v3 seems faster, but loop is still broken and does nothing.
Did they even do betas that far back? That is even before my time here.
i had a render of 4 hours that errored towards the very end, is it possible to retrieve that file somewhere? its not in the export directory, nor the temp folder.

I have not tested for judder specifically… I think if you try it and do not notice anything, it’s fine. I usually err on the side of caution by timesing the original frame rate by 2.5 rather than forcing 60 fps.
My reasoning for this is that TVAI offers x10 frame rate. If it can do that correctly without judder, then that, divided by 4, should be the same as x2.5.

I got H.265 Main 10 to persist in a preset. The trick is to select the checkbox first (“include preview and export settings”) before entering a name for the preset. It seems that selecting the checkbox after entering the preset name is “like” clicking the OK button without selecting the checkbox. This is on a PC, Windows 11

My memory might be a bit hazy on the details for that time, but I seem to recall that the beta releases for TVAI back then weren’t handled on the forum. I think there was a facebook group or something similar where they made links to the beta versions available.

Devs, i have question, i own Topaz photo ai and Topaz video ai. Topaz photo ai is better right? It will be better to split video to stills and then process them in topaz photo, right?
Nope.
That’s the whole point of TVAI.
To split a video file into images use other tools like the Free Video to Jpeg Converter. 
For goodness sake not jpeg of all things

But either way, it’s not going to produce a video that looks like a video. It will be an oddly warping changing mess.
