It never shows error for me just hangs up on slp and sharp, I uninstalled and used link and it still the same.
Testing time, it seems. 
Anyone have any speed comparisons for the new models? I will do testing later today.

BUG:
Oh no… pick a start and end area for export, select Precise 2.6, quick export… and it exports but always from the beginning of video, never from your picked range.
Should be an immediate quick fix. Please re-upload fixed 1.7.1 exe.
I have a 5090, Vram usage for SLP is 16GB max. SLM not tested yet into 1.7.0, SLP uses high ammount of Shared Ram, about 16GB, maybe more, so people with only 32GB System memory could run into a problem…

Still on 3090 though - I REALLY despise, what Nvidia did to 5080 - practically the same chip, as 3090 (CUDA-cores-wise), but more performant, and yet, less VRAM.
I don’t even want to think about the price of 5080 Super. 
Then I think you should consider upgrading to Windows 11. Personally, I’d recommend doing a fresh install. I swear by Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC. Feel free to DM me if you want to know more.

I did install TV 1.7.1 (just link edit), so it might not apply, but - I noticed, that the model manager doesn’t delete the ZIP files for Astra 1.0 and AstraHQ 1.0 after downloading and unpacking. It’s probably similar for the 1.7.0, so heads up! It’s 5.69GB of precious SSD/HDD space to save (these storage prices are INSANE)!
ok “insane” is relative, I have 20TB of SSDs space in my PC, bought before prices exploded 
I also noticed that file is saved as a number not by the name of the file with the model suffix as before.
I’m getting the attached error in Final Cut Pro showing that the plugin is not working. Note: M5 Macbook Air, Tahoe 26.6.1 and FCP 12.3 (same issue on both subscription and perpetual versions)
Weird problem…I tried converting a 5 second sequence to HDR with Hyperion 2. It ran okay, although it looked like it went back to SDR half way through (though, since it was a clip from a larger file it may have just been adjusting to the dynamics of the SDR source) .
The weird thing is that I now can’t start ANY other Topaz job. I rebooted and still nothing (neither ffprobe, ffmpeg nor neuroserver was launched). Tried a repair of the install, still no good. Finally did an complete uninstall and reinstall with no change. 1.70 is now totally inoperative.
I am able to run the most recent beta just fine. This log is from an attempt to run SLP.

Finally got it working again by using Revo Uninstall Pro to uninstall 1.7 and nuke any left over directories and registry entries. Then rebooted and reran the install, and pre-downloaded all the Starlight models. That got Starlight Precise working again.
This might be caused by the interrupted processing.
For a processing, the temp files will not infinitely growing (should be cap to a few gb in total), and will be cleaned up on finishing.
Can you send the logs in for review? Tried replicating this, and the In/Out markers are being held in several tests, but need to check on other variables.
I think when you startup, you should be given the option, Continue Project Where you left off? Yes and it loads last project, No and you can Start a new Project

The bottom 3 rows are the benchmark results for SLP 2.6.All tests were run with 2x Upscale on 1920x1080 source material, ordered from top to bottom as Sharpness 1 → 2 → 3.It shows a 10% speed improvement compared to SLP 2.5.
