I am also a founding customer who got a Pro licence for being in the beta program. Is this Pro licence not the same as others? Should I be able to access these new Starlight models?

I guess we’re getting screwed, again. Only took them 6 months to go back on their word. Since this update of features is mostly for pro users, there is no reason to install it and also considering turning off my active subscription as now any update from this point onwards is for cloud or pro users. :frowning:

Sounds good on paper, but I won’t hold my breath. Not even gonna attempt this update until I finish a project before a deadline. Still using ver 1.0.4 because it’s been the last stable version for me. Even after sending in a report, I was basically told, “We know of this issue. Until we fix it, keep using the version that’s stable for you.” So, yeah, I’ll be surprised if I can actually use this update.

The issue where its not stable. Renders crash randomly. Nothing finishes. So, its kind of a big issue for me.

You’d think if it were a software issue, it would be crashing randomly for everyone.

I don’t see the forums flooded with posts from users about that happening.

Which tells me it’s more likely a system issue.

Its a software issue specific to AMD/Nvidia systems that happens when Hyperion is used. I sent my crash report last patch and was told the team was aware of the issue.

Could also be that Im one of the few people that take time to actually complain about it. Instead of just grumbling and rolling back the patch.

Well then good job reporting it properly. Did you post/create a bug report thread? Would be helpful and you could just refer to it when discussing it in release threads.

Thanks. I actually didn’t post it in the bug thread. I did post about the issue in the last patch thread where I was told to email it.

When Im done this one project, I’ll try the new patch. Assuming, I get the same problem, I’ll post in the other thread. But for now, I need to stick to the schedule I made to make a deadline I set to challenge myself.

I’m always impress the incredible amount of behind the scenes work topaz puts into what amounts to cutting edge software that has never existed before. App still crashes/hangs every time on close when running files from a network.
