I agree. This is very frustrating. I have some custom Python scripting to batch process through AVISynth followed by Topaz, and can’t use it with Starlight Sharp since the CLI is broke. Topaz tech support has no ETA on fixing this. Come on Topaz, FIX THIS!

I discovered that my existing scripts do still work. I have a personal licence with founder status. So hopefully they will still work for you too. Give it a try and see what happens. You may be in luck, at least for now…
But the removal of the menu functions is just plain stupid.

Problem is they don’t work with Starlight, at least as of 11/27/25.
When I use the 8x Slow Mo preset, the audio remains at normal speed and I have to use Premiere Pro to slow down the audio to match. Is there some setting I can use in Video/
Still no support for Intel Macs?
Since TVAI doesn’t work optimally on newer Macs, and Intell Macs aren’t getting any newer… I think you can deduce the inevitable conclusion.
If you will look at the SeedVR2, you’ll never come back to Starlight, trust me.
With a little setup - we can help you with that - you’ll have better image quality and faster processing.
The only downside is a lot of manual tweaking for each input and output dimensions. But it’s free and community-supported.

Topaz never claimed to process audio in slow-mo mode.
My post was a passive aggressive complaint, not really a question. With the price of these Mac Pros going back up, I have to assume there’s a large market for them. That being said, I’m hoping more people in my situation will hound developers into supporting Intel Macs.
I am getting a login screen in Topaz Video latest version since the upgrade to 1.1.0. Every time my computer goes to sleep, and I wake it up, and go back to the program on my Windows 11 computer it prompts me to login. I login and it lets me use it properly, but then it happens again next time. This is the desktop program, obviously.

The app now “dials home” every hour, so if you’re offline that’s what is likely causing the problem.
That’s a pita, because that screen doesn’t use the saved password.

I’m a founder and did the upgrade to Studio. I’m disappointed that this is not the Pro Version that includes the Mac improvements to Starlight, which still does not work in 1.01. Having supported this application for years, put up with constant changes to UI, render modes etc, I feel short changed. I’m not liking the new business model with separation to pro, which should be part of the studio package in my opinion.

I was informed the “pro” version also has issues with some Mac systems with the starlight model. I’ve been waiting for almost a year for the fix, I’m hoping for the best but expecting less and less unfortunately. All resources seem to be focused on Nvidia hardware and users. Apple and AMD users are far less important to Topaz In my opinion.

I have the same problem, except that i’m 99% of the time offline 
not sure if it’s an issue, a bug, or a “new feature”.. if i login when i’m online, then going offline, the same message as you appears except with ?? instead of the price as it can connect to topaz labs website.
Are you sure about that or you’re just gessing ?
Topaz staff confirmed the hourly dial-home in the initial release thread for Topaz Video.
