Thanks. New starlight models are very important for me cause i mostly enhance old compressed videos and vhs rips. Without this the software is nearly useless for me.
Am I missing something in this free upgrade email & announcement? Because Iām still not being able to access this subscription model platform that Topaz Labs is promoting.
One thing that may be confusing you: at this time, there is no single place to download the Studio AI suite. And thereās no place to do it from the webpages you copied and posted. You have to download, install, and activate the three new Studio apps, one at a time. When you do this, theyāre installed in a different place on your computer than the legacy apps, which are not overwritten or updated.
One way to download them is to scroll up in this thread by dragging the small blue diamond on the right to around post 865 or 866 by Fotomaker. Click on each blue product name to download that product. Install it. Activate it. It took me several tries over a couple of hours to get the new Photo AI and the new Gigapixel AI activated on the first day, because the activation servers were overwhelmed, so you may need some patience and some retries, but it does eventually work. I canāt yet activate Video AIālike you, I just have active licenses to Photo AI and Gigapixel AIāso for Video AI, I just see an offer to buy a one-year subscription to it. (Donāt do that since youāre eligible to get it bundled with the other two at no extra cost. Just wait a few days. Topaz promises the ability to activate for people who are eligible but donāt have an active license to a third app is coming.)
So, I have downloaded the Topaz Photo and have Topaz Photo A! already installed on a perpetual licence, I canāt see anything that says I will be charged for Topaz Photo? Can you please enlighten me as to what will and is happening?
Andy, Did you contact Support directly re: your personal account to hear how theyāre handling it? Before you travel. Why not write now?

Go to topazlabs.com. Click the person icon in the upper right (above where it says āPOWERED BY AIā) and log in to your account.
Click My Products on the right. Expect it to take a few seconds to open. That should show you have Topaz Photo AI and it will either say Active, showing a date in the future, or Expired, showing a date in the past. A date in the future, next to Active, is your renewal date.
For a product listed as Active, click Subscriptions on the right. Again you see your renewal date, and you will also see the amount they expect to charge you on that renewal date. Dakota has said that some of the amounts shown for some users may be too high, and theyāre working to get that fixed; if yours is higher than you think it should be, just make a mental note to check it again, say, a month before the next renewal date, and if you still think itās too high, contact Topaz customer support.

I now have an answer from them that didnāt give me any details about the process other than donāt worry about it, itās still coming.
Any other Founders out there whoāve actually completed the transition who can explain what you have to do?
What does the transition link Ida sent you, once logged into your account give as information? Can you reply to her the results? It will mention if still underway. You will also get an email once its completed.
My two current subscriptions will renew on 30 Sep 25. Will they be automatically converted into the one Founderās subscription, or do I have to stop the two old ones manually?
Yes, to keep the Founder status and full Studio access, you will need to keep both subscriptions active. Both will process on 30 Sep 25. This locks in that price you pay for both sucriptions as your price for the full Studio offering. You will get an email once the transition completed.
@Ange.topazlabs, I didnāt get that email but Video & Gigapixel are up and running and Photo still gives me a popup message asking to buy the subscription.
Exactly right. On all counts. Iāve cancelled my subscriptions to Photo and Gigapixel AI. The fact is that I have zero interest in the other Topaz apps and the āimprovementsā in my existing apps have been few and far between. Every new release is an opportunity for more bugs to break something.
Ever since Topaz stopped selling and developing their legacy apps (Studio 1 and 2, Sharpen, Denoise), their value has diminished to me. This change is really the final straw. Iāll continue to use my existing apps so long as they work on my hardware but Iām not interested in supporting a company that leaves their loyal customers high and dry.
Oh. Sorry it didnāt resolve before your travels. It sounds like it was unpredictable re: who was set up and who would be in a next phase. Seems like a good thing youāre asking for setup tips to learn from those whoāve handled that already. Hope it helps!
It just starts getting ābetterā. I have an active GPAI subscription ending in November and the link to GP 1.0.0/1.0.1 which was there for some time has all of a sudden been replaced by a link to 8.4.4. Hadnāt I found the 1.0.x forum page in my browser history I would probably not have any way to try out what I should be eligible to until the end of my subscription.

A link you had may no longer work or may not have worked when you tried it but is back up now, but of course there are still ways to download the three new studio apps.
