Remember, these are all real people. Please be kind to your paid client base (if you’re reasonably able to accomodate such behavior) because maybe obviously they have forgone the option of not paying you in any way!
Also, be sure whoever believes they are firmly in command of Topaz ordains a new product that is significantly different in scope and feature set, because to do otherwise would let eveyone down in a very clear and easily actionable way! Then you would truly be playing the high-stakes “apologize don’t ask for permission” game in a way that sharply highlights the poor risk profile of the all-or-nothing, single decisive strike, loosed-arrow theater strategem that has been erroneously deployed here!

Thanks my questions was more so for Topaz Studio Web apps like Bloom, Astra etc?
Since email said something about unlimited cloud renderings but when i go to Bloom or Astra, it doesnt recognize me as founding member (2 or more subscriptions) and i have only little access.
So i was wondering when i actually get my founding member benefits of web apps which are part of Topaz Studio?
Since i keep seeing subscribe or upgrade. When i thought technically Topaz Studio was included in my plan due to having 2 or more subscriptions (in my case i have Video AI and Photo AI subscriptions)
Ahhh. Ange mentioned in another post to someone else that it could take a few days for all users to get set up with the Web stuff (access & no need for credits).
Some users are there now and some not yet - from what it sounded like. It seems to be phased but no mention if an algorithm (how’s that for wording) for the order of how it’s happening.
I, personally, am doing what I do when Adobe rolls out a new annual update and just chilling & letting the dust settle before leaping, ![]()
I’m just finding out about all this today, at 10pm Eastern USA here on Sept. 17th. I spent $550 with Topaz since 2019. They couldn’t bother to send me an email about all these changes?!? And they want me to ‘hang around’??? Instead I have to read 871 posts after a long day? Wow.
I am also on M4 Max Studio. Telling me to ‘buy a windows machine’ is like telling me to learn Spanish. Wow.
$550 since 2019 but I cannot be a “founding member” because I just “found out” about all these changes and the 16th was yesterday. Man…unbelievable. I predict this ‘Topaz transition’ will be discussed in Business classes for years to come.
Walter, They extended the Founder conditions date deadline to the 26th because many people didn’t get notified.
You may want to contact acct spt directly (vs this forum) to figure out what you qualify for or may find useful.

Same here - A year-old machine with an AMD GPU replaced by nVidia. But Starlight Mini has performed spectacularly and reliably on it, and I’m delighted to go forth with the Studio plan.
Knock on wood, I’ve been able to do a lot more on board my PC since the GPU switch!
I use the Topaz products (Photo & Gigapixel) primarily as Photoshop plugins. My whole workflow is Ps + I like being able to mask the image outputs from those products on my Ps layers. Ps has a lot of AI too. I do see speed improvements after the rebuild.
But it’s like fixing something in a house. Then something else looks shoddy! So now I’m considering a less antique monitor too… $$$
Thank you for the reply Fotomaker! And I have now read through the 870-ish posts. That’s 90 minutes of my life I’ll never get back. Can I bill for that? I will take your advice and contact support to see the best way to proceed. If I become a beta tester will it help get the M4 GPU cores working? Kindest regards

Nope, I don’t get sucked into the subscription cycles. I’ll keep Topaz Photo AI until I decide on a competing product with perpetual license.
How do I access the new studio subscription? I followed everything said in the mail, I activated renew on gigapixel and photo AI but nothing. I could download the new Gigapixel and photo 1.0.0 and activate and it works, but video 1.0.0 doesn’t, it just ask for me to subscribe without a price:

So I don’t get it: In the mail they said I must have two app with active renew and I would get topaz studio for free, but in practice I must pay 200$ more a year?
TL;DR:
I did everything the email said — renewed Gigapixel and Photo AI, downloaded the new 1.0.0 versions, and both of those work fine. But Video AI 1.0.0 still asks me to subscribe, and when I check the Topaz Studio subscription page it shows $200/year. The email said having two apps with active renewals would unlock Studio for free, but right now it looks like I’d still have to pay extra, which makes no sense.

This is a major undertaking for Topaz and a few things need to be ironed out over the next few days so, please be patient you will get full access
The Spt person (Ange) suggested it will take several days to get everyone set up. It sounds like you have done all you need to based on their stated criteria to get the full Studio collection. Give it a few days.

This is illegal here in europe, I purchased a one year subscription with feature updates for a “perpetual” version and not a rental one I cant use anymore if this year is over. You have to update the legacy versions too, so that existing customers get what they purchased for.
