We’ll post on the forums of course, and everyone will receive an email on launch in some form. Some may be automatically transitioned to Studio, others may need to check out to claim the Studio upgrade.

I thought I saw an answer to this saying that cancelling one isn’t required to get the best price. Can this be confirmed? I have 3 subscriptions active, I don’t need to cancel video AI in order to get the best pricing right?

Edit: Apologies - turns out this is inaccurate. Turn off the third auto-renewal for the lowest monthly price. Otherwise, you can reach out to support and we’ll update your account accordingly to make sure you get that best price either way.

Is there going to be an increase in the minimum system requirements for a Windows PC for the new Studio version?
Oh, that is unfortunate.
I was thinking Linux support was going to be a thing, from seeing the beta:
I wanted to switch my GPU desktop back to Linux, because of Windows 10 reaching end of life soon and is quite unstable for working with several AI tools. Also can’t even disable automatic OS updates + restart on windows pro.

Ok . . . so with this new knowledge. Im turning off auto renewal for video ai, leaving auto renewal on for photo and Gigapixel. Right now video ai says it’s pending cancellation, ending September 19. Does that mean Im good to go for the best price? And I will still be able to use topaz video AI studio edition after the 19th?

So people who have been paying Topaz MORE money will be charged a higher rate for Topaz Studio than people who have been paying less money.
That seem somehow wrong.

Hey Zero, you can disable Video AI auto-renewal now to get the same price. You just won’t be transitioned automatically, in this case you’ll receive an email offer to upgrade to Studio.
Why not just charge all “Founders” the same rate for Studio?

Thanks for clarifying! So after the transition, these subscriptions will be merged into one Studio subscription and the individual subscriptions will no longer exist in our accounts.
While we’ll still be able to use the perpetual licensed apps + exclusive models and we’ll be eligible to receive all future maintenance patches for all of them (including video ai, even if that one has auto renew disabled now).
Is that accurate?
17th September. Have seen nothing about Studio having been released for download. Looked on Topaz website - nothing. Have 2 active subscriptions so should have “founders” entitlements. Has the release been delayed or other factors in play??

That’s correct! The new AI models will be in Studio of course, and the existing models and features of the perpetual apps will remain untouched.
