Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, it’s apparently the legacy Studio installer that suddenly appeared in the “My Products” page of my account. This must be an error because I never purchased a license for Studio Classic or Studio 2. I purchased the plugins either separately or later through a Photoshop bundle upgrade.
Hello,
English is not my first language, but I would like to clarify something.
After reading what you wrote here, I decided to make a change.
• I already had Photo AI active (until May 2026).
• On September 17th, one day after the initial cutoff, I purchased Gigapixel AI with auto-renew active.
• My account now shows “Pending Studio Transition”.
Since you mentioned the grace period until September 26, I understood that having two active upgrade licenses still qualifies me as a Founder. Could you please confirm that my case is included?
Thank you very much for your help. ![]()
I only made this change after reading Eric (Topaz CEO)’s message about the grace period until September 26, which is why I’m asking for confirmation.
This was an internal miscommunication. You will receive the $163/yr price even with Gigapixel and Video AI, so no action is required.
If you don’t renew, you keep the current version of Gigapixel AI perpetual forever. You also get Topaz Gigapixel (Studio) until your upgrade license expires, including unlimited image cloud processing.
If you do renew, you get Topaz Gigapixel (Studio) for your grandfathered upgrade price, which is a substantial discount over a new subscription.
If you also add Photo AI, you also get full access to Topaz Studio for as long as you remain subscribed to 2+ active licenses.
Hope that helps!
Yes - you’re good to go and will receive Studio access in a few days. Thanks!
@eric Is there any plans for non-enterprise Linux apps? Linux desktop is becoming quite mainstream and is enthusiastically supported by basically all important AI tools. PewDiePie uses Arch Linux as his primary desktop for example haha ![]()
Prices are posted on the site now for new customers. The offer for founders is $163 per year for the Studio bundle
it’s a crazy good deal.
Will the new Studio version of Photo AI and Gigapixel still be offered as Lightroom Classic plugins? That’s the only way I use Topaz products right now, and if that capability goes away I’ll go elsewhere (it’s that big a deal).
Thanks
Where can i see this price?? I’m Founder user but i don’t see that price ![]()
Yes, for sure. ![]()
If you have auto-renewals on your account for 2+ products should be migrated at this price automatically over the next few days
Just make sure everything is on auto-renew for the best experience here
Ok thanks… How long will this promotion be active? Since my perpetual licenses for the three programs expire on December 15, 2025 (more or less), can I start my year of Topaz Studio from that date?
This deal is available until September 26th
It doesn’t matter that your current Licences run out on different dates just maintain your Auto-Renewal Subscription and Topaz will continue to take the money as they have done previously
Hope this helps
Thank you for giving me the end date of the “Promo”!
There’s just one thing I don’t understand: do I simply need to activate the auto-renewal of the three individual licenses for Gigapixel AI, Photo AI, and Video AI (all three expire on December 15, 2025) to get this discount on the STUDIO version? Would my annual subscription to Topaz Studio start on December 15, 2025, or is that impossible?
@dakota.wixom
From what I can only assume from the “marketing” speak here from Topaz, Studio is available to you if you have at least 2 apps set for active renewal, ie Studio won’t start or stop with it’s own cycle. Note you only need two apps, so if you have three on auto renewal I “believe” (from Topaz posts here) you can turn one off with no impact. Personally I would turn off the most expensive.
I’ve read all the way through this, I’d like Topaz to verify I have this right:
1). Owning one app on active auto renewal (I have Photo AI) will lock in the price for the replacement app, “Photo” but doesn’t get you the full Studio. I would get unlimited cloud rendering at no cost
-
Buying a second app (ex Gigapixel) for auto renewal prior to Sept 26 (29?) would lock in that rate forever also, but would also qualify me for the entire Studio suite at no extra charge. If I had no interest in the full studio suite then there’s no motivation for buying that second app…???
-
Owning 3 apps with auto renewal on really buys nothing more so folks with 3 active auto renewing apps can cancel all but two of them and still qualify for the full Studio suite. Somewhere in this thread I read that the most any “Founder” would pay is $163/year
Question…what apps count for the “Founder” rate? I assume Gigapixal, Photo AI, and Video AI. Anything else?
Yes, that’s how it works. You won’t make any payments till then. Just make sure your AR is on
correct! <3
Don’t turn off any subscriptions for the best experience. You’ll get the best price either way. This changed a couple of times, but I am personally working with engineers here to make sure this is true in transition ![]()
#1 correct
#2 - incentive is you get perpetual forever + best price + founder status for those 2. It’s a great deal!
#3 - you now have perpetual for all 3 apps + best price + founder status for all 3. Even better.
