i have gigapixel and topaz video as perpetual but still i didnt get the link to topaz studio. Any ETA on this?
I went to the link (marked âhereâ) at the top of this thread. This took me to an accounts page from where I was able to start downloading the apps. Model downloading is currently very slow and stalling every so often.
I thought by having 2 perpetual licenses we would be provided access to Topaz Studio am i getting something wrong here?
I need some official explanation about this. I still have 2 active upgrade licenses for one year. so, Is that means I can use Topaz Studio(without pro) for free for 1 more year, after that, I still need to pay for the subscription ?
So my Macs have Intel processors and when I try to update to the new Studio versions I am told that you no longer support Intel Macs - in essence you have killed me off from using your products.

You donât seem to have auto-renew activated. Thatâs what will give you access to the entire suite.
I had an active licence for Topaz Video AI and PhotoAI which I thought meant that when Studio arrived I would get access to all the programs - which would mean Gigapixel in my case. When I installed Gigapixel Studio and tried to activate it it says I have to subscribe.
Is this something which is in the process of being sorted out or did I miss a tick box somewhere?
Both Topaz Video and Photo studio installed, activated and work.
Your Studio price will be based on the two lowest renewal prices that youâre paying. In your case itâd be $148/year for Studio. We hard cap founding customer prices at $163/year, so you would never pay more than that for Studio Personal.

Yes - Studio prices are listed here and depends on whether you choose Monthly or Annual.
As a founding customer, youâd pay the lowest two active upgrade licenses that you own (or a maximum of $163/year).
If we own PhotoAI, do we have any idea what the renewal price will be when the current licence runs out?
Do we pay a yearly price like now - or does it revert to a subscription payment every month and if so, at what price?

Thatâs exactly right. You can always fall back to perpetual license with Gigapixel AI v8, but free cloud processing and Topaz Gigapixel will be under the subscription.
If I uninstall the legacy version, will I be able to install it again in the future if I ever want to fall back to the perpetual license?
Yes - weâll maintain the installers on our website. You can also download the installer now and save it if you want.

Is this page gonna transition into and replace the current account pages?
No plans to remove the current account page. Itâs just not very user friendly (and honestly difficult for us to update too) so we put together a cleaner page. If we do completely switch, all the features of the current account page will be migrated over, including old plugin licenses.

You should get the same Studio price (about $163) regardless of whether you do that. Even if you just maintain your Photo AI and Video AI upgrade subscription, we have internal logic that ensures your price is the same as a Photo AI and Gigapixel upgrade subscription.

We donât have a consolidated Studio installer currently, so yes - you might be using the old installer for legacy Studio 
Weâre still rolling it out. You should get access within a couple of days - you can check status here.
I just have Video AI + Gigapixel AI which renew at $149 and $64 (mistakenly wrote $49 in my original question) respectively which would come to $213/year not $148/year.
In other replies youâve said the price would be capped at $163/year.

No - you wonât be paying a monthly subscription as a founding customer.
Founding customers have annual upgrade plans (say $129 for Photo AI and $59 for Gigapixel). Those same upgrade plans get you access to the new Studio subscription at the same price. This is a substantial cost saving (like 2.5x cheaper) over buying Studio as a new customer.
If the subscription lapses then so does the Studio access, but you always still have access to the perpetual versions of Photo AI and Gigapixel.
Itâll be $163. We hard-cap it at that amount for founding customers.
