What program is converting the ARW to DNG? does it occur with the ARW? We would need both the ARW, DNG sent to support@topazlabs.com to see and test this behavior.
Thanks Angie. I converted the file within On1 Photo Raw. However, I have done a bit more reasrch and used Adobe DNG Converter instead. This conversion worked fine with Topaz Photo. So the issue relates to On1. Is it still worth my while uploading the files to you, since you might be able to point things in the right direction when I inform On1 of the problem?
@rayinsanmiguel - Not sure, I would check if ON1 has any settings in their export for DNG, test if any changes the behavior. Let me know if you get any insight! It would still be best to use the ARW in Topaz Photo and then export as DNG, and use ON1 after that, which would be the RAW processing order and avoid any conflicts!
Is there anything new before the holiday season?
A patch is in the works with bug fixes, and separately model development and optimizations are also in the works. Updates will be released once internal testing is done!
Thx for the update

Wasn’t able to enlarge this image to 12kpx to my satisfaction, because 1.6.1 can’t enlarge beyond 192mp ← and i need it for Wonder 2 sinc e its a 4x native model.
I would like to show more detail to my followers - i wasn’t able to go closer to the butterly - my right knee was close to a spyderwebb of a wasp spyder already, i don’t like to destroy spiderwebs just because of an image.
I realy like the droplets on the insect antennae.
Those are amazing results, well done indeed.
I guess you must have your own Data Centre for image storage, processing and evaluation of results ?
(Not intended as a sarcastic crack at you at all but a genuine congratulation for a job done exceedingly well from a fellow enthusiast in image enhancement techniques.)
It’s pretty.
Thanks, Feedback means a lot to me—no matter what form it takes.
My PC is a “normal Desktop” but my gpu is a professional / server one - but a rtx with 16 gb vram would do the job too.
We’ll increase the local rendering output resolution limit in the upcoming release, most likely up to 350 megapixels.
awww, sounds great!
A lot of HW we outfitted as “normal desktops” before the meteoric AI bubble price increases probably qualify as “data centers” now when compared to what consumers who aren’t swimming in $$$ can afford.
Actually, yes.
I advised a friend to upgrade his RAM now because it was announced that prices will continue to rise.
He decided to go on vacation with his family next year and postponed buying the RAM until 2028, which I can totally understand.
It all reminds me of the crypto mining bubble.
I’m courious what i can do with an Wonder 2 (4X) output when i run denoise max over it.
The butterfly with the droplets is HifiV2 (100/0/0) and Denoise Max (70%) (8kpx final output).
15 months ago, I recycled my wife’s aged 10th generation i7 mini desktop into a media/file server. Paid $45 to replace 8Gb RAM with 32Gb. Opted not to spend the additional $45 it would’ve cost to max the box out to 64GB.
Kicking myself for that now. What was $45 in April 2025 is now $266, and what would’ve been $90 is now $471.
Feels more like tulip mania to me.
Would it be possible to output 384mp or 400mp?
24mp will not fit into 350mp, only with pre downscaling and loss of detail.
