Great work. New version worked for me without issues reported here by others.
Only could not sharpen an old black-n-white scanned photograph at all. Otherwise is fine. Face recovery seem to degrade faces on high quality photographs. For this Remini is still superior. It would be nice to see similar algorithm for face reconstruction, not only silly eye or mouth contouring, as it is currently in Topaz.
Here on dropbox are two examples. One fails sharpening (no upscale was used). Another (NEF file) fails badly face recovery.
Topaz has previously mentioned NOT to download installers until they have been officially released. Reason - they may still be in the process of updating them. I really donāt understand why they make them available at this point. BTW - 2.4.1 has just been released nit 2.4.2
well if they can post non-working versionw I can try to find a working version⦠BTW - 2.4.2 has been released, I am testing on a batch of 400 raw file now, to see if it crashes like 2.4.0 and 2.4.1 did.
2.4.1 has been released. 2.4.2 is the next version that is being worked on and it most likely will change in the next 2 weeks. What you have is the state of 2.4.2 today not when it will be released in 2 weeks.
