I wonder what this has to do with Photo AI as it doesn’t even use the Neural Engine and the patterns ONLY occur on Fuji XTrans images, in dxo. I don’t understand why people post about other products that have no bearing on Photo AI …
Somewhere I saw a post asking about standard sharpen vs standard sharpen v2. From my testing I don’t see any issue with replacing V1 with V2

Today the problem is solved. with a new actualization??
@adam.mains On windows Programs fail to activate it popup wrong browser.
If you crop and upscale an image then apply to all, the crop does not transfer and the full image is upscaled.
I made a task for us to look into this.
This is happening because Topaz Photo AI needs to work on an image layer and it is called on an adjustment layer here. We are working on a fix for this so the plugin searches for the image layer.
At the moment it is 30,000 x 30,000 in Photoshop but we are increasing it back to 32,000 x 32,000 which is the current maximum in Topaz Photo AI.
We are working on an updated UI design which should help with this. We are investigating the auto-completing issue.
We fixed this issue with the patch installer. It should work now if you try again.
The plugins do not have the quick export feature because there is no export setting to alter when using a plugin and the Save button already works as quick export. The Export menu only appears in the stand alone menu.
Tested and confirmed. I made a task for my team to fix this.

We do use the Neural Engine for Apple Silicon devices which is why this issue happens.
It is perfectly fine for users to post about other products, we want to avoid censoring user discussions granted they are not out of hand and far off topic.
Deleting messages should happen in rare cases where comments do not contribute meaningfully to the conversation.

It cannot be the sole reason because an extremely faint grid pattern can also be seen on the Test-Beta where Neural engine isn’t used.
Also I seem to remember some users with windows reporting similar in the past.
P.S.: The grid pattern issue also exists already in Gigapixel AI.

If an image layer is needed for images to be sent to PAI via Ps File > Automate, is it possible for someone at Topaz to add a “prompt” msg to that effect rather than the generic “PAI won’t work” (I’m paraphrasing…) msg.?
I’d rather it do that than default back to a lower layer in the layer stack that is considered a full image layer… because if I/we add adjustments, I’d like the scaling, etc. to be applied to the image with those adjustments (not to a lower tier image layer that’s missing the adjustment layer improvements). I hope that makes sense. (I’m getting hungry and operating on fewer brain cells right now…)

My apologies but why is it happening on all images and not just Fuji XTrans?
Downloaded AI v2.0,5 yesterday. Trying to process RAW images in Lightroom. This version has only worked like normal once. Otherwise it freezes when applying denoise for the preview or it freezes up when applying the changes to your photo. Only once I have closed Topaz, reopened it and applied the changes and Topaz worked like normal.
Thus I have decided to wait until these bugs are fixed before using Topaz on any more photos. Any suggestions so I can keep using Topaz? (ie. how do you go back to a previous version?)

But I’m curious (and, for the devs to know who experiences what) - Which OS & processor are you using and which rel. of Lr (Lr or LrC, the latest 2024 or earlier?)?

The only thing I see is the “Releases” right below the “Topaz Photo AI v2.0.5” which is right below your name. However, this is just a picture – when I click on it, it just shows me that it’s a picture (little box appears around it). Nothing happens or opens.
