Those logs indicate that you do not own TPAI. I’d suggest ensuring you’re logging into the same account you purchased TPAI with. You can contact our support to get further trouble shooting steps.
I’ll see if we can explore the fringing issue. My guess is that there is some demosaicing issue in the RAW model, especially if it doesn’t happen for non-RAW inputs.
As for the bottom stretching issue I’ve seen this before on certain Sony cameras where the crop metadata was incorrect (and unfixable a far as I am aware). However if this is only in HDR DNGs then it might be that there’s something new we don’t handle correctly since we added support for loading HDR images recently. Having the image to debug would help although I’m not sure how fast I can get to it since I have quite a few things I’m working on.
This is probably due to lens correction. We use lensfun for our lens correction and I’ve noticed a lot of their corrections add a vignette. You can verify this by turning off lens correction in preferences and see if the issue persists. If it’s not lens correction I’d have to debug further with your image.
Unfortunately, I don’t have another account as far as I know, and also, there is nowhere in the software for me to update the account details without being signed in.
I have owned TopazPhotoAI from v1.0.0 since mid-September 2022, and suddenly it’s now of no use to me.
Use your browser and login to your account on the Topaz Labs main website to see what is the issue, either way if there is a problem with the Email or password you wont be able to login. If it is a problem with your email address contact support at the main website, if it is a problem with your password change it.
Okee dokee - I have a feeling that the problems I am experiencing have previously been identified, but I don’t have the time to scroll through and find them.
Firstly, when I select multiple images at once to edit as .jpgs, the color appears way off on the resulting files, and they are overly blue in Adobe Bridge and Lightroom - but not outside of Adobe.
Secondly, again, with multiple files images selected at once, the masks on my images are shifted, and the resulting output files have “shadow” masks. But this issue is not happening consistently, so I currently don’t have any examples.
Thirdly, when I select multiple files at once to process, occasionally, just one file is picked up by Photo AI. This is a new issue as well.
The first two issues do not occur if I am just running one image at a time through Photo AI.
I am on a MAC with Ventura 13.2.1, and my RAW files are Nikon .NEF, from a Z6ii camera. I always use the workflow of editing my images first by cropping/adjusting exposure, shadows, highlights/tweaking clarity and vibrance, and possibly saturation (although just a tiny bit). Then I normally batch process the .NEF files by issuing the Edit in Topaz Photo AI command from Lightroom Classic (Version 12.2.1), with a JPEG output using the ProPhoto RGB color space at a resolution of 300.
I absolutely love Photo AI, but it becomes too cumbersome to use unless I can get the batch processing to render accurately.
I’ve uploaded the .NEF and .jpg for one of the processed files which is now too blue in Adobe, as well as a screen shot of my view of the file in Adobe Bridge.
It’s useless to have a fast processor and GPU if after generating the preview of the image in 1 or 2 seconds and you still have to wait 5 or 10 seconds for the authenticating process to show the button to save to Photoshop.
Every second matters in today’s life and in the industry, that’s why we use powerful computers, and if a few seconds are wasted for the authentication process everytime we use the plugin for each photo, that’s a BIG NO NO.
And I am able to download about 12Mo/second, so it’s not a bad network …
